G.W.M. Reynolds: Building A Publishing Empire

George W.M. Reynolds is an interesting story, almost epic actually. No biography is currently extant. His history must be patched together by certain fragmentary sketches and assembled based on those autobiographical details from his novels in addition to fragmentary researches and solid facts that provide hints to interpret the novels.
As to parentage: His father was George Reynolds, a naval officer during the Napoleonic wars. His dates: 1762-1822. During those Napoleonic wars in 1802 he was commissioned a Captain and given command of the Tribune, a 36 gun frigate with which he was able to capture what researcher Dick Collins says, were several prizes. The proceeds from those prizes were distributed in shares to the officers and crew. Collins gives no idea of the richness of those prizes but we must presume that he received, possibly, ten to twenty thousand pounds overall and possibly more. This is important as when his son assumed his inheritance in 1830 it is possible that he received twelve thousand pounds. Thus, it would likely have come from the proceeds of these prizes.
Prize money would have been in addition to his wages and whatever emoluments that might have amounted to three hundred pounds or more per annum. If Reynolds’ father had invested his prize money and lived on other earnings it would make his having twelve thousand pounds not unreasonable. This is important because the size of GWM’s inheritance is disputed. Dick Collins, for instance, seeks to diminish it to near nothing. Guy Dicks places it at seven thousand. Without any other assurance than the prizes I accept the figure of twelve thousand, if for no other reason than Reynolds was too affluent in France than for there being little or no inheritance.
On his mother’s side, Caroline Frances Dowers, 1789-1830, her father was a Purser Dowers, Purser is his Christian name, who was the commandant of the Royal Naval Hospital in Walmer, Kent. Caroline and George were married in 1813. George W.M. was born a year later in Sandwich, Kent but that location doesn’t figure in his writings while Walmer and Deal, two neighboring towns where Dowers and his guardian Duncan McArthur lived, have prominent places as well as Canterbury with a nod to Ashford.
GWM had a brother, Edward, born in 1816 with whom he was associated through life, serving with the publishing company George created. Shortly after in 1816 his father was stationed on the island of Guernsey where GWM spent the next six years. Guernsey will figure in his novels. It was probably there, next to France, speaking a French dialect that his affection for France arose.
In 1822, the family returned to Kent in Canterbury where his father died soon after. His mother at that time was thirty-three, a young and probably attractive woman. She was appointed guardian of her sons. As a backup guardian a great friend of her husband’s, the surgeon Duncan McArthur of Walmer, 1772-1850 accepted the responsibility on her death in March of 1830 at the very young age of forty-two. Thus, Reynolds was an orphan at fifteen. His being an orphan is important in his writings. George was eight years old when his father died, and fifteen when his mother passed. Excluding his two years of infancy his life had been divided evenly between Guernsey and Kent. Orphaned at eight when is father died and then left parentless after another eight years his childhood must have had a profound effect on his psychology.
In 1828 he had been placed in the Sandhurst Military Academy in Berkshire. Neither Sandhurst nor Berkshire have a prominent place in his novels. His total experience in Kent then takes place from 1822 to 1828 and those years were apparently the most formative years of his life for which he appears to have had a great affection. He was sent to school at Ashford, Kent, a relatively large town equidistant from Canterbury and Walmer-Deal. Whatever happened in Walmer-Deal then happened between 1822 and 1828 but left an indelible impression on him.
In those years George must have associated in Walmer with Duncan McArthur and possibly his grand-father Purser Dowers. George is fixated on these years and these towns plus Canterbury. Walmer especially is connected to his character of the Resurrection Man, Anthony Tidkins, in the First Series of The Mysteries of London. At that time body stealers from graveyards, known as resurrection men were supplying corpses to physicians for dissection in the advancement of science. Dick Collins speculates that Duncan McArthur, a surgeon, bought bodies. In the novel Tony Tidkins was born in Walmer and supplied bodies to ‘the surgeon of Walmer.’ Thus, Duncan McArthur.
This is quite possible if not probable. Reynolds seems quite familiar with doctors and their scientific experiments. The Mysteries of London were written in two series. For some reason Collins thinks that the Second Series was never written but it is readily available today. It comes in two volumes totaling sixteen hundred pages. It doesn’t appear to be well known. However in Volume III, that is, First Series, Vols. I and II and Second Series, Vols. III and IV, Reynolds describes some offices of ‘the foremost surgeon in England’, a Dr. Lascelles that he leased from a cadaverous, hideous criminal Benjamin Bones, also known as Old Death. Old Death was not a resurrection man but looks like he had been resurrected.
There are many alter-egos of Reynolds in the Mysteries and one in Vol. III is the highwayman, Thomas Rainford or Tom Rain as he was known. He is in Old Death’s crummy old house in which Dr. Lascelles, the foremost doctor in England rents rooms. Rainford enters these rooms to find pickled body parts, lifelike casts of human heads and such. Lascelles is a phrenologist in interest. One, then, is led to ask, did Dr. Duncan McArthur also have such a collection and was an eight to fourteen year old G.W.M. Reynolds introduced into such a gruesome environment by his guardian. Where else could he have witnessed such scenes and attributed them to Walmer. The influence in the novels is extensive.
At fourteen then he was entered into the military academy. What happened between he and his guardian after the mother died while he was a few months short of sixteen isn’t clear. It is hard to believe that Reynolds with his literary bent wasn’t restless in a military environment while being exposed at fourteen to that, to me, repulsive environment was negative. It was probably there that he had his first experiences with gambling and drinking.
He wrangled his way out of Sandhurst in September of 1830. One imagines that McArthur and Dowers resisted this but as military men they probably thought they had to give the young fellow his head. He demanded his inheritance then and there which he must have received but with great reluctance. Whether his brother also had an inheritance isn’t clear but as his brother joined George in France he may have brought a fresh supply of money.
As important as 1822-28 were to Reynolds development, the years in France from 1831-36 were equally important. There is no clear account of what happened in those years, only what may be gleaned from his writings and some facts Dick Collins has collected.
What is clear is that the most significant occurrence was that Reynolds was illuminated almost upon landing in France. Reynolds says that he became a Liberal at Sandhurst, by which he means, that among the sons of the aristocracy as an inferior he developed a deep resentment for that faction of society. In France his illumination codified that resentment into a program.
Illumination may be a new concept to many readers but the term and concept arose from the dissolution of the Medieval Order and the rise of the scientific consciousness promoted by astronomers and alchemists. It became apparent to many that the old order was no longer suited to emerging social exigencies as condensed into the 1789 Revolutionary slogan Liberty, Equality, Fraternity. Its key components were the elimination of monarchy, the aristocracy, that is the privileges of birth, and the rejection of established religion and priestcraft and certain sexual revisions.
In its evolution in the sixteenth century it took the form of the Rosicrucian Order and Rosicrucianism remained the backbone of Illumination down probably to the present. The Illuminati sect of Rosicrucianism appropriated the word. Thus Reynolds appears to have been initiated into the Rosicrucian Order. At least, in his novel the Wehrwolf he has his hero Wagner leave the Island of the Lotus Eaters in his novel to go to Sicily in which the venerable head of the Rosicrucian Order existed as a 164 year old man with whom he had a long interview, or, as I read it, he was initiated or illuminated. This chicanery was common during the eighteenth century and the formation of Freemasonry that incorporates all these legends.
Most famous in the Revolutionary days were Cagliostro, otherwise Joseph Balsamo and the Count de St. Germain, alchemists and magicians. Alexander Dumas has a wonderful interpretation of the career of Cagliostro in his novel Joseph Balsamo. You may be sure Reynolds read it. Of course, such men as these were not what they claimed to be but society was credulous and many took them at their word. After all, with that great European legend or myth of the Wandering Jew sightings of him were common as there were many Jewish poseurs. They wandered and announced themselves and were credited as such. Cagliostro and St. Germain were actually a significant part of the Revolution.
Another impostor of sorts was Adam Weishaupt who appropriated illuminism to form the Illuminati. That group is now passed off as legendary for whatever reasons the Left has, but they did exist and were a key part of the Revolution as Jacobins. Nobody denies the Jacobins.
One must remember that the revolutionary and Napoleonic years were from 1789 to 1815 and Reynolds was born in 1814. He was an ardent follower of Napoleon considering him the greatest man of history. Joseph Balsamo (Cagliostro) and the Comte de St. Germain were still living legends while Reynolds was in Paris. Dumas was writing amazing stories about Cagliostro and the Revolutionary period concurrently with Reynolds’ novels. The French writers he would have been familiar with in the 1830s were all imbrued with the events of 1789-1815. This period was one of most breathtaking events in the history of Europe.
More or less as an aside these first fifty years of the nineteenth century were the formative years from which the succeeding two hundred years have evolved. A work still treasured by the cognoscenti was published in 1841, Charles Mackay’s Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds containing long essays on John Law and the Mississippi Bubble as well as that amazing phenomenon The South Sea Bubble. W.H. Ainsworth wrote a wonderful novel describing the South Sea Bubble. I don’t think there’s any doubt that Reynolds’ read it as he has numerous examples of bubble companies and frauds in his pages. In the early nineteenth century the Frenchman Gustave Le Bon would add his magnificent psychological study the Crowd: A Study of the Popular Mind that Freud would incorporate into his Group Psychology and the Analysis of the Ego thus forming the basis of mind control today.
In addition the Regency Period and Reign of George IV were part of his living memories. When he arrived in France very late in 1830, the year George IV died, really 1831 the Revolution of 1830 had just taken place in July 1830- the July Revolution- that removed Charles X and placed Louis Phillipe on the throne. Almost from enthronement the Revolution of 1848 was being planned and a mere eighteen years later took place ending the monarchy in France permanently. Reynolds himself was working toward 1848 probably from the day his shoes hit French soil.
Reynolds was an enthusiastic supporter of the July Revolution and cheered wildly at the displacement of the aristocracy. In his estimation it placed the French high above the English who retained both monarch and aristocracy. He despised the English nobility. That attitude would have been a common one of course but, I believe it likely that Reynolds humiliating experiences at Sandhurst cemented that hatred in his mind.
Sandhurst would have been full of the sons of the aristocracy who would have demeaned mere commoners. Nor would he have had the money to keep up with them.
What drove him to France isn’t clear but those five years were to be the most influential of his life. Reconstructing those five years is not easy although some key events can be dated.
A sixteen year old striking out on his own in a foreign country with inadequate language skills is daring while if he had what to a sixteen year old was an enormous sum of twelve thousand pounds in his pockets sharpers and sponges would have spotted him immediately.
There is a passage in Vol. II of The Mysteries Of The Court Of London that might explain his situation. A sixteen year old orphan girl, the beauteous Carmilla, actually Rose Foster has been cleaned out of her inheritance by sharpers.
Another home! Alas! Alas! ‘tis much more easily said that done; and the orphan felt that it was so, and her heart, as it were, came up into her throat as she reflected that the only true home which she had ever enjoyed had been swallowed up in the grave of her parents.
O God! robbery is bad, forger is vile, rape is atrocious, and murder is abhorrent; but to ill-treat an orphan, to be merciless toward the poor being from whom death has borne away the fond mother and the doting father, never to send them back again, oh, this is abhorrent also, and the wretch who has no pity for the orphan is capable of robbery and forgery and rape and murder.
There is a cri de couer, a hysterical wringing of hands. We can’t reconstruct exactly what happened after Reynolds’ beloved mother died orphaning him completely. What his relationship with his new guardian was we don’t know, but, just as Carmilla was easy prey for the criminals who took advantage of her youth and innocence, it is more than likely that something similar happened to Reynolds in France.
Thus it cannot be accidental that his account of his first adventures in France should have been recreated in his continuation of Dicken’s Pickwick Papers, Pickwick Abroad. It is a novel full of sharpers and spongers preying on Pickwick who may have been a variant of the prosperous Reynolds. This novel is an interesting account of English ex-pats in Paris.
In the post-Napoleonic years there was such an influx of English people into Paris for extended stays that the Meurice Hotel was created to accommodate them by creating as English an atmosphere in France as possible. It would be almost the same as the Jewish and Italian colonies in New York City c. 1900. It is in the atmosphere of the Meurice that Reynolds places his version of Mr. Pickwick for the duration of that famous character’s stay in France.
It is there that Pickwick is surrounded by sharpers and sponges and plain thieves. One wonders how Reynolds saw himself in that mélange. Perhaps with his twelve thousand pounds he is Mr. Pickwick himself though certainly not as a sponge although one gathers the impression that Reynolds was somewhat addicted to sharp practices. Perhaps his first year or two were spent Pickwick fashion. Quite high living for a sixteen year old. Remember though as Mortimer from Master Timothy’s Bookcase returns to England Mortimer philosophizes whether a young man can be a Man of the World. Perhaps that can be interpreted that he had tried and failed in France.
In these five years in France of rapid intellectual development at no time could he have let the grass grow under his feet. He obviously worked in a vast amount of reading. One should keep in mind that in 1839 in England he compiled a book, The Modern Literature Of France, a book of excerpts with prefaces. It is certain that he read and was deeply influenced by Victor Hugo’s Notre Dame De Paris, or the Hunchback of Notre Dame in common parlance. The book was published in the year of his arrival in 1831. He carried the memory of its pages in mind from that time forward. He read the Marquis de Sades’ Justine, and Juliette, and the Philosophy of the Boudoir and was deeply influenced by those books. His rather racy sexual descriptions probably derive therefrom. He praises the apparently horror novelist, Frederic Soulie (not translated into English yet) while making use of his techniques in his own novels.
Paris must have been wildly active while he was resident. Survivors of the 1789 revolution would have been sixty or seventy years old, filled with stories. Reynolds endorsed the crimes of the French Revolution. The Bohemia immortalized by Henry Burger in his 1859 novel would have been in rapid development thus combining the political, art and literary scenes. Balzac, Sue and Dumas as well as lesser light were all writing in the shadow of the Revolution and Napoleonic years. That Reynolds showed interest in the art scene is evidenced by his chapter in Mysteries of the Court of London. Thus his brain was swarming with images and innumerable scenes copped from the French novelists.
Connected to all would have been the process of illumination, the formation of Reynold’s Weltanschauung and his uniting with the Zeitgeist. I have been unable to identify a reference to the Freemasons but the mystic cult of Rosicrucianism seems to have attracted his attention, hence illumination. Reynolds was a very prominent Liberal, touting Liberalism, hence illumination constantly. A Liberalism almost current with that of the twenty-first century. He was true blue.
After three years in France he made his first novel attempt: The Youthful Impostor. I haven’t read that as yet but the title perhaps indicates his feelings about himself. He was probably premature in taking on the trappings of The Man of the World that he so much wanted to be.
He began a bookstore at about this time while attempting to found an Anglo-French newspaper. One can only conclude that they were unsuccessful and left France a year later as a bankrupt. But not before he married Susannah Frances Pierson at the British Embassy. In Volume IV of the Mysteries of London Charles Hatfield and Perdita Hardinge were married at the British Embassy in November. Was this a reenactment of his and Susannah’s marriage? As he seems a little gushy about the event his and Susannah’s marriage at the Embassy must have made a significant impression on him.
In 1836 his French adventure ended as he went broke, returning to England with wife and new son in tow. He was only twenty-two and had lived a lifetime or two in France. The years from 1837-44 seems to have been a period of struggling to re-orient himself. After all having been under the impression that he was rich in 1831 to have gone smash in 1836 and then having to find a way to wealth again must have taken some courage. During 1842-44 he seems to have realized that his early efforts were getting him nowhere so was searching for a new direction. 1844-48 is an expression of that reorientation that ended in the Revolution of 1848 and the elimination of the French monarchy at last.
Even though only twenty-two in 1836 it would seem that some interest in his abilities adhered to him from his French journalistic activities because on his return he found ready employment as the editor of the Monthly Magazine then tottering, and which he revived.
The English loved to sojourn in Paris. In the brief period of peace in 1802 as Venetia Murray records in her An Elegant Madness when the English rushed to France. Then after the final defeat of Napoleon in 1815 the love affair with France recovered. Indeed, much to Reynolds’ chagrin the English offered Louis Philippe sanctuary in England after 1848. As mentioned the Meurice Hotel was established to cater to English tastes.
As magazine editor in Paris Reynolds published Thackeray’s first appearance in print so it is probable the he had established some sort of reputation that was honored on his return. Reynolds then began publication of Pickwick Abroad in the Monthly’s pages. While usually considered a plagiarism Reynolds’ explains his position clearly:
The founder of the ‘Pickwick club’ which now exists no longer had violated the promise he had sometime since made to himself and voluntarily deviated from that tranquil mode of life it was his intention to adopt when his first biographer, ‘Boz’ took leave of him.
So, as Reynolds apparently saw it, if the first biographer abandon’s a biography a second biographer may legitimately write a continuation. Remember that the club no longer existed so it was Mr. Pickwick himself. A fine line perhaps but Pickwick Abroad is not about the club. Indeed, the grand epic of the Greeks was written by several hands of which Homer’s was just one. There were several continuations written for Chretien De Troye’s Grail story. Not everyone agreed with the notion but Pickwick Abroad was a success giving Reynolds a literary reputation, of sorts, in England.
None of the following six efforts leading to 1842 created much of a fuss. During that time, however, Reynold’s was exploring all of the highways and byways of London and he may have devoted much of his time during his two missing years to that endeavor as well as doing extensive reading. He was certainly well read and aware of scientific, technological and societal developments. It seems clear to me that he had read the psychological literature of his time and knew how to apply it accurately. He apparently visited many insane asylums in both France and England as the interiors of the various asylums seem to be accurately portrayed. He was aware of Dr. Pinel who liberalized the handling of the insane in France. All of this interest in matters combined with his illumination gives an extraordinary depth to his writing making the most of intense experiences giving them almost a visual reality.
While writing Vol IV of the Second Series, the Revolution of 1848 occurred about 40% of the way through in February of that year. Reynolds broke off his narrative to celebrate the event and encourage the Chartists to do the same in England. As he was in the process of writing about his heroine, Laura Mortimer, he has her begin her course in illumination as taught by her music teacher beginning with the Marseillaise and some poems by Victor Hugo. Hugo was a monster influence on Reynolds. Cross fertilization was apparently widespread.
Reynolds, once again taking inspiration from Dickens for the last volume of his early period, Master Timothy’s Bookcase, he then remained unpublished from 42-44. Looking again to France, Reynolds read the early installments of the great Eugene Sue’s Mysteries of Paris. Receiving this inspiration his thoughts fell into place and he began to write the magnificent First Series of The Mysteries Of London.
At this point I wish to cautiously introduce a work that appeared simultaneously with Reynolds and Sue, Paul Feval’s own version of The Mysteries of London. While virtually unknown in the US today Feval was a magnificent crime writer inking the stories of the Black Coats. Being aFrenchman his take on haunts that both he and Reynolds were aware are yet quite different but equally as terrifying as Reynold’s.
The First Series of Mysteries of London quickly set Reynold’s on his feet and he was in a position to look forward to building a publishing empire and regaining the dreams of his youth.
The First Series ended in 1846 and it was that year that he established his weekly newspaper the Reynolds Miscellany. The First Series had been stunningly successful, selling in the tens of thousands per week so that perhaps giddy with success he thought his name so familiar and respected the magazine would sell by itself. On the other hand, it was a dream coming true. The first issue began with his novel Wagner The Wehrwolf. The story itself may have been patterned on the success of James Rymer’s Varney the Vampire of recent issue. If so, the story worked, the magazine was a success and continued to large sales for several years before being folded into John Dick’s Bow Bells.
At this time, 1846-48, Reynolds was also getting increasingly involved in the politics that led up to the February Revolution and the Trafalgar demonstration of that April. This shows in his erratic writing of the Second Series. While having high points such as story of Perdita Hardinge the Second Series is a low point in his production. In getting involved in the Miscellany and the Revolution it is clear that he was taking on too much.
A sea change took place in his career when he formed an alliance with the printer John Dicks in 1847. Dicks would remain his printer for the rest of his career being made a full partner in 1854.
Make no mistake, Reynolds great success depended on his relationship with Dicks. Without a relationship such as this, carrying much of the burden, great success is impossible.
He was now able to free himself from his association with Stiff and Vickers who published The Mysteries of London. They appear to have regarded Reynolds’ writing as for hire and kept the copyrights as theirs. This departure does not appear to have been amicable. Stiff tried to undermine the Reynold’s Miscellany while Reynold’s believed that his 1848 bankruptcy was engineered by Stiff in spite. Nevertheless the groundwork for a remarkable publishing empire was being laid.
Nearly all the information on Dicks I take from his grandson Guy Dicks’ and his book The John Dicks Press, self-published in 2005 and reprinted in 2016.
As an amusing aside if you google Guy Dicks what comes up is a series of articles on men’s penises. Guy Dicks doesn’t get a mention.
Guy’s grandfather John was born four years after Reynolds in 1818. He served a fairly long apprenticeship with specialty publishers before joining Reynolds. His most interesting was with the Chinese dictionary compiler Robert Morrison. He came to Reynolds as an expert printer and innovative publisher. He and Reynolds were on the same wavelength although I don’t know whether Dicks was illuminated or not.
Although Dicks was an employee of Reynolds until 1864 when he was made a partner in that year the two men worked working even more expanded the empire. In addition to Reynolds’ novels and the Reynolds Miscellany they created the Reynolds News paper that survived for well over a hundred years. As their business grew and as technological innovations improved publishing methods the firm kept up, changing with the innovations adding huge steam presses that turned out thousands of impressions an hour.
Between the two of them they tried to be model employers much in the style of the twentieth centuries Henry Ford.
Those developments were in the future, in 1846-7 it is clear that Reynolds was writing weekly installments in a rush while trying to establish a publishing empire of his own. His mental energy must have been enormous and his ability to organize his time phenomenal. Let us never forget that he had a wife and large and growing family.
While the Second Series, especially Volume IV, suffers from all this activity, in 1847 he wrote a complete novel of several thousand words titled Faust: A Romance of the Secret Tribunals that is well plotted and tightly written. It also displays a fair amount of historical knowledge and research. This must have been in the second half of 1847 as in 1846-47 he was turning out Wagner the Wehrwolf which is interesting and exciting but a lower quality than Faust. At the same he was writing these three novels there are reference in the Second Series indicating that he was organizing his thoughts to begin the phenomenal Mysteries of the Court of London.
His mental capacity was phenomenal, his mind was so compartmentalized that he could be working on four separate extensive novels while editing the Reynolds Miscellany during 1846 and part of 1847. His wife Susannah must have been managing the family finances while bringing up a troop of noisy children, and also, it might be added attempting novels also. Her novel Gretna Green appeared at this time.
He began his magnum opus, The Mysteries of the Court of London in 1848 and from then on, he was on solid ground with Dicks backing him up in the founding and development of his publishing empire.
While the humiliations Reynolds suffered as a sixteen year old striking out on his own had been extremely painful to him providing wretched memories, with the rise of his empire he redeemed those years and mistakes. When he died he left an estate of nearly thirty thousand pounds thus putting him up in the class of those aristocrats he despised so much. Alls well that ends well, eh George

Some Current Developments In Leftist Ideology

Since Trump’s election the Left has had to make some rapid developments to its methods. Trump has freed the Real Americans to be able to express their opinions without fear or favor. Forced for the first time since, perhaps, 1945 to face an opposing freely expressed point of view the Left is definitely discombobulated. There is a scramble to adjust.
To begin with I quote a passage from Sunday’s (7/2/17) NYT magazine by a John Herrman.

Counter Offensive
An always-useful thought experiment is to imagine seeing all the media around you for the first time- consciously, like a teenager freshly awakened to the existence of politics or an artificial intelligence that has just blinked across some humanoid threshold. This is especially handy lately, in our strange moment of flux. A wide-eyed observer of today’s political media wouldn’t just see different voices and outlets with contrasting tendencies. It would see a disorienting game of rhetorical appropriation in which it is constantly unclear who stands for which principles and why.
An essential feature of the rise of Trumpism has been the brazen inversion, that trusty maneuver in which you wield your critics’ own values against them- say, borrowing the language of social justice to argue that the “oppressor” is actually oppressed or suddenly embracing progressive social causes in the service of criticizing Islam. It’s a blunt but effective rhetorical confiscation, in which a battle-ready right relishes its ability to seize, inhabit and neutralize the arguments and vocabularies of its opponents, reveling in their continued inability to formulate any sort of answer to the trusty old “I know you are, but what am I.”

As you can see, Mr. Herrman believes there is no excuse for Conservatives and whatever they do is wrong. The very idea of challenging the Left’s point of view appalls Mr. Hermann, the filthy so and soes will actually stoop to ‘rhetorical appropriation’.!!! The Negroes through their spokesman, or rather person, I too live in a gender neutral universe, Ice Cube have recently appropriated the word ‘nigger’ for their own exclusive use. Only Negroes can use it; it is forbidden to others. Thus Norman Mailer’s use of the term ‘White Nigger’ is now off limits. Those books in which he used it must now be burned.
Here Mr. Hartman in his more than incoherent article seems to be suggesting that certain rhetorical usages, that encompass the whole dictionary, are off limits to Conservatives who are merely aping Liberals. (Let’s see how those rhetorical confiscatory bastards get along without a language.)
In another interesting development some law professors from Harvard and Yale have revealed that if Hillary had been elected to continue Obama’s policies that Conservatives would have been treated worse than ‘we’ treated the Germans in the aftermath of WWII. I’m telling ya this would have been worse than Sherman’s march through Georgia. The Left is always bloody minded.
While ‘alternatives’ appropriate a Leftist term, historians are finally revealing the horrors of how ‘we’ did treat the Germans, that have not yet trickled down to the general public it is clear that Trump by his election has, temporarily at least, saved the Conservatives from a terrible fate. Thank God for the anti-third term law that prevented Obama from running again.
One can only say: God bless Donald Trump.
One should bear in mind and take seriously the fact that both Negroes and Jews (see Noel Ignatiev) mean to perpetrate a genocide of the White populations. Much of the elite also believe that the world is too populous and that about six billion should die. As preposterous as it may seem it can easily be done.
Consider food as a weapon. Communists in the Soviet Union during the twenties and thirties with the full compliance of Liberals throughout the world created an artificial famine in the Soviet Union during 1932-33-34 that claimed untold millions of lives through starvation while those that survived were crippled for the rest of their lives physically and mentally. This crime was successfully suppressed throughout Europe and America. If you’re in control of the media what gets out is only what you want to get out, hence, Pres. Trump’s war with the media. Back him.
A similar ‘experiment’ along those lines may be happening in Venezuela today that may result in the deaths of millions. The transfer of millions of people into Europe from the Middle East and Africa may result in a massive insurrection in which millions will die from warfare and more millions from the disruption of agriculture, starvation, and that within the next ten years. Vatic I know, but still probable.
Such a conflict continually stoked from outside would prevent peace while tens or even hundreds of millions of people die. Of course such a catastrophe would affect both Europeans and Moslems and Africans which would benefit who?
The conditions in Sweden now, today, is such that a Moslem insurrection could break out at any time. Even Denmark has set up a border watch to prevent Moslem insurgents from entering from Sweden. One on their Southern border with Germany wouldn’t hurt either.
Now, just as the Ivy League lawyers were ready to begin a massive elimination of Conservatives we must believe that these same people and their confederates are working to the same end in Europe and Canada as well as not having given up hope in the US.
Make no mistake, this is a do or die situation and must be taken seriously. I believe England and Europe are already lost. The time to tolerate Liberals and their policies is over. It is no longer necessary to be covert. Conservatives must stand up and say NO!

Let us say the inspiration for this essay is John Pearson’s 1973 book. My struggle is trying to put the post war period together especially the contribution of England that so influenced the course of the Sixties in the US after 1964. I think I can use Pearson’s The Profession of Violence as a base.
The criminal Kray Twins are the subject of Pearson’s biography during the period 1956 to 1968. No one in England, except for recent immigrants, will have to ask who the Krays were while the vast majority of Americans and Canadians as well as Mexicans will draw a blank.

Quite simply the Krays- Ronnie and Reggie- were the most fearsome villains in England of the period. The English refer to their mobsters as villains and truly there was no English Mafia, just a collection of villains under the hegemony of the Krays. Their notoriety was such that at the height of Swinging London the fashion photographer David Bailey issued a portfolio of photos of England’s scene makers which included the villains Ronnie and Reggie Kray. David Bailey, who is the subject of Fellini’s movie Blow Up was more influential than one might suppose. The Krays were, as Bailey recognized, in many ways the epitome of Swinging England; they were mixed into many things. Their career coincided with the birth of the Sixties and ended in 1968 when they were returned to prison for life thus ending their spectacular career.
David Bailey was criticized for including mere villains in his portfolio, but in fact the Krays made themselves members of the scene as surely as Bailey, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Mary Quant, Twiggy and the rest. The Krays were on their way to acquiring control of the whole record business when the law brought them down.
Really, then, the Krays are part of the generation that spent their youthful years during the Second World War under very harsh living conditions from the War’s end through the Fifties and still into, at least, the early part of the Sixties.
It is difficult to accurately recreate the effect of the destructive war years on post-war Europe and England. France and England were mad to involve themselves in Hitler’s crusade against the Soviet Union except as enablers. The crimes against humanity, the offences against sanity are indescribable. The agony of Russia, horrible conditions of a Germany actually bombed flat and the genocide against them that followed, Northern France shredded by the march of armies more devastating than a sky filled with locusts, swatches of England bombed flat while the cream of their manhood left over from WWI was destroyed by WWII leaving nations with inferior human resources while hordes of women were condemned to live their lives without men.
And the youth, what desperation they faced growing up, what stunted bodies caused by the lack of nutrition, of nearly a full decade on short rations. Strict rationing while a Black Market flourished creating whole new social classes of semi-criminal spivs and wide boys. And to add insult to injury a compulsive National Service of two years just as they were coming were coming into manhood. Not a draft of the less fortunate men as in the US but the whole male population.
When National Service ended in 1960 that whole generation born in from 1938 to 1945 were released from the indignities suffered all their lives. Is it any wonder that the early Sixties in England were characterized as the Swinging Sixties as exuberance burst out all over the place. Release, release, release.
Even in the depths of their desperation a light crossed the ocean from the US in the character of Elvis Presley. Hope in human form. Just as Elvis gave hope to the same age cohort in the US the light of Elvis showed the way for English youth. Music was the path for poor boys to follow to prosperity. Naturally the results weren’t even but neither was the talent.
Those that succeeded had parties where the Groaning Board was truly groaning with all the really good delicacies the earth provided. Strangely the table was just for show. To take vengeance on the deprivation of those early years that generation turned up their noses at all that food, refused to eat it, and it went into the garbage. How many other neuroses and psychoses of those years have had their sources gone unrecognized.
So, the Krays coming into early manhood rose from their difficult conditions, not to mention their origins. They were from the notorious East End, Bethnal Green, a desperate area since Victorian times. It was one of the most heavily bombed areas of London. Ronnie Kray was a certified lunatic, as psychotic as they come. While twin Brother Reggie lived out his life in prison, Ronnie was in an asylum such as Colney Hatch.
Colney Hatch was a legendary asylum of the Victorian era. Its name was legendary in my youth. It was always pronounced Coney Hatch so while in England in 1976 I found myself driving on a street in London where upon looking right I saw a sign saying Colney Hatch. There it was, the legendary insane asylum. Colney, not Coney. Ronnie wasn’t there he was somewhere else.
Thus Ronnie was nuts, his brain probably affected by a serious fever in his childhood, while he exerted a compelling influence over his twin dragging him into infamy as it is told. The old generation of villains was on the way out by the mid-fifties, the Krays barging into the void to establish their hegemony.
Just as the cadre of 1942-43 wanted to indulge themselves so did the returning soldiers and those that stayed behind. There was also a fluttering between socialism and Adam Smith economics, sometimes referred to as Capitalism, the name that is more a Communist smear that disguises its true nature. And the rebuilding of thousands of London’s leveled areas.
It was a time. Not the very worst of times, but not the best either. It was depressing whatever the time was. Is it a coincidence that British youth embraced the US Negro blues as their musical expression? I don’t think so.
As David Bailey, the fashion photographer, recognized, the Krays were not mere villains. They emerged from the underworld into the Twilight World between the Under and Overworld just Over world players like Lord Boothby descended into the Twilight world with the Krays. Caught up into the Twilight World was the whole music industry. It is bonding of these three worlds, the Under, Over and Twilight worlds that this essay is really about.
As might be expected this volatile mix was bound to explode and explode it did in 1963 in what was called the Profumo Affair. If anything the Affair exposed the sexual underside of London society. But not completely . There was a homosexual underside involving the three worlds and ones of which the Krays or at least Ronnie was central. And this homosexual underside extended almost universally into the music business.
A little more background. Gambling had been illegal in England until that magic year of 1960. In that magic year England legalized gambling. This Act alone probably did more to create the Twilight World than any other. Now clubs were established that brought the Under and Over Worlds together, shoulder to shoulder. Now Ronnie and Reggie felt themselves to be elevated, rubbing shoulders with the Old Nobility, the Upper Crust, the cream of London society.
Lots of people gambled and gambled stupidly. Prominent for this essay are gamblers like Brian Epstein, the manager of the Beatles and the premier art dealer of the period, Groovy Bob Fraser. And binding the whole thing together like a taut rubber band, drugs. Heroin, cocaine, pot and the whole pharmacopeia. Uppers and downers. Society had found the perfect brew to corrupt it completely. Sex, drugs and gambling. A soul destroying combination. A descent into hell. And was this a coincidence? What should appear at the same time but a nascent Satanism to give definition to the emerging Weltanschauung.
Criminals always go where the money is, one place the money seemed to be was in the music and recording industry. Rock and roll, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Donovan. For younger readers the music world was a different place than today. It was much smaller with minimal presence on TV and no videos. Hits were not instantaneous world wide but took weeks to get started in a key market like New York or LA and cross country. London was a separate market just emerging on the larger global stage. Much of the English repertoire originated in the US and was then recorded by British artists.
After the Beatles hit in the US in 1964 Swinging London furnished the world with its premier rock groups, those already mentioned, The Yardbirds, the Animals, the Dave Clark Five, on the list grows. Many of these groups were clustered around single managers thus if you co-opted a manager a gaggle of groups came with him.
I wasn’t in the record business in the first surge of English rock but I was by the second from 1967 on. I owned significant record stores in Eugene and Portland Oregon. Not world centers but its not what you do but how you do it. I did it. It’s not what you see but how you see it. I saw it. I never left the Overworld and I never entered the Twilight World but I was positioned to see over the dividers. I had to deal with Twilight Worlders and brushed against Underworlders.
John Pearson who only provides a base for the essay doesn’t touch on many activities of the Krays. I’m not sure he wanted to deal with the Krays but as the saying goes, they made an offer…. At any rate Pearson soon realized that he was in deep dangerous waters. He was learning things he didn’t want to know. The Krays took him on in 1967 as the first Sixties were in transition to the second Sixties. In 1968 the Krays would be behind bars for good. The Krays are said to have been calling the shots from prison still while Over/Twilight world characters such as the homosexuals Tom Driberg and Lord Boothby were still around and were not less dangerous than the Krays in their own way. Pearson trimmed his wick accordingly. Little is said of Boothby and nothing about the homosexual Twilight World. That would be coming out later.
Homosexuality and Rock and Roll. Did you ever see Mick Jagger prance or mount his forty foot inflatable penis on stage in front of tens of thousands people? There’s story here.

So, now, we’re going to have to take an excursion. It is rather difficult to locate an entry point here but I’m going to select a much overlooked player by the name of Spanish Tony Sanchez. Tony may not be an unfamiliar name to most, perhaps, while those that know the name may not know the man bearing it or are perhaps hostile because of Tony’s realistic if unflattering books about the Stones: Up And Down With The Rolling Stones and I Was Keith Richard’s Drug Dealer. The latter is a variation of the former adding material but not a different book. Tony also had a relationship with the chanteuse Marianne Faithfull. Altogether he is a unifying factor in the story.
Tony as a teenager was fascinated by the Underworld, so he decided to become a villain. Naturally he took an entry level job at one of the clubs as a protégé of Albert Dimes, a villain from the old guard. While sitting around a bar before work one day he struck up a conversation with the rising art dealer, Robert Fraser. Known as Groovy Bob Fraser, he was more well known than Tony while also being an influential player. Fraser apprenticed in the art world in the NYC of Andy Warhol. For those not familiar with Warhol, and believe me, there are many, he was the foremost Pop artist of the Sixties and the most renowned of that group. Fraser then joined the Pop movement introducing Pop art to England upon his return in 1962.
As he and Tony talked at the bar, conversation turned, as they did at that time, to drugs. Seeing an opening Tony related that he had access to drugs, heroin being Fraser’s drug of choice, and could supply as much as was needed. There is no friendship so fast as that between a dealer and his addict. Tony and Bob became fast friends.
Groovy Bob Fraser ran a sort of musical salon. His art dealings were an entrée into the rock scene. He began to provide artworks to Paul McCartney of the Beatles. Having established that connection while being able to supply drugs, at a profit of course, to his circle of rockers his circle of rockers grew. When Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones was drawn into his circle he tried to sell him art works too. While Mick was wary of investing in art he and the Stones as a group were just coming on so Mick really didn’t have the money, but he did have money for drugs. One doesn’t put off buying drugs just because the funds are low. Groovy Bob had ins with the rock community.
He was not only an addict, but a homosexual and not only that but a gambler; three of the most potent human failures.
Now, in 1960 England legalized gambling. The Krays were attracted to gambling as easy money. Through a questionable chain of circumstances, they were criminals, an early period ramshackle gambling club called Esmeralda’s Barn found a way into the Krays’ hands. If you see pictures of Esmeralda’s Barn it is less than appealing compared even to the Vegas of the time or London clubs as they became. As shabby as it was it was the no. 1 club.
Of course, Groovy Bob could be found trying to find his groove at the tables. I don’t know why they call it gambling because it is a sure bet that you lose. Insuperable odds are against you. Oh, sure the odds are that a player can have a hot streak and win but it is a certainty that if you begin with a certain amount it must diminish to nothing.
With Bob’s luck he ran in negative numbers hoping to make two negatives a positive as by some miracle they do on paper. Bob wrote paper backed by nothing. As was inevitable in those circumstances the Krays were holding a lot of Bob’s worthless paper. Now the circle enlarges. Spanish Tony believing himself to be a villain of some worth offered to intercede for friend Bob with the notorious villains Ronnie and Reggie Kray. Here’s why Pearson titles his book The Profession of Violence. Ronnie was famous for the stunt of forcing a sword crosswise into the mouth of a man called David Litvinoff giving him a permanent rictus sardonicus. They dangled men out windows of tall buildings by their ankles, unpredictable fellows, or predictable, depending on how you looked at it.
Tony entered this lion’s den, still an apprentice villain, and came out smiling believing he had worked out a deal. The deal involved making a percentage of the checks good but that involved having money so the ever wily Groovy bob continued to be evasive. No, no, don’t get up for a potty run this is just getting good.
Pearson probably had good reasons for leaving this sort of stuff out of the book. On the one hand he may not have known about it and on the other he may not have thought it important. While as with the subject of Lord Boothby that we’ll leave for later, he may have thought it expedient to maintain a discreet silence.
One of the Krays many ‘business’ ventures was the protection racket that was working out pretty well for them. They had a deal with the US Mafia that when Mob artists such as Judy Garland or Johnny Ray were visiting England the Kays provided protection for them. The American mob had their claws into a large stable of entertainers. They suggested that maybe the Krays might find that lucrative in England. The Krays did think it would be lucrative and acting on somewhat less than the spur of the moment went about trying to take over the rock and roll scene.
The Krays could not operate above ground as they had felony convictions and so were unable to obtain licenses; however, older brother Charlie Kray who had a clean record could. So they kept Charlie clean and recruited an old Bethnal Green chum Laurie O’ Leary to run clubs. They made their move. As part of their move they conceived the notion of taking over the Beatles from Brian Epstein.
This may sound far fetched at first, but consider: Epstein had all three knocks against him. He was a homosexual, a druggie, and a gambler who played Esmeralda’s Barn. He was fair game. The Krays had been advised by wiser heads than theirs to forget attempting he Beatles. There were numerous good reasons why it was ill advised but, knock, knock, knock, the Krays had all three against themselves too.
So, disregarding all the negatives the Krays went ahead. First they called in Spanish Tony because they knew that Groovy Bob had an in with McCartney and that meant the Beatles. They made a deal through Tony that Fraser’s debts would be forgiven if he could reel the Beatles in.
One objection that had been raised to them by the wisest criminal head in the British Isles was that above ground businesses were much more difficult businesses to run than knock ‘em on the head criminal businesses. The devil was in the details.
Having Charlie and Laurie O’ Leary above ground Ronnie and Reggie thought they had that angle covered.
I think Groovy Bob was trying the delicate job of bringing the Beatles in but deciding the proper course of action was interpreted as procrastination by the Krays so they decided on more direct action. They called Brian Epstein for a sit down to discuss transferring title to them.
Well, you know, things that seem so simple when you don’t have all the facts can get pretty complicated. The truth of the matter is that Brian ‘Knock Three Times’ Epstein had bitten off more than he could chew.
It seems certain that neither Epstein or even anyone in the English record industry could have imagined that the Beatles would ever become the worldwide phenomenon that they did. Heck, they were the first of the kind. The Beatles opened the door but I doubt any group since has captured the hearts and minds of all but a few the way they did. Their Sgt. Peppers album issued in the summer of 1967 became a core strut in the psyche of more than one generation that summer. I would rate it as the most influential pop icon of all time. Today they are even celebrating the fiftieth year since its release with all kinds of hoopla.
It is doubtful that Epstein even imagined success on an English scale of any magnitude. In all likelihood he had a crush on John Lennon as Brian was a homosexual. All the aspiring musicians wanted to have a record released, a record…the Holy Grail and not that hard to obtain. Having met Lennon and learned that that was John’s grail Epstein signed the unheard of group from the English backwater town of Liverpool and then went to London to see if he could get a 45 rpm pressed. Albums weren’t that big at that time.
Now, consider, the Beatles had no reputation outside Liverpool. Was it wishful thinking, invincible hope, that Epstein actually thought he was going to get a record label to sign this bunch of boisterous unknowns to a contract? It just isn’t that easy. But Brian who ran the NEMS record store in Liverpool was a big account so maybe that opened the door. You know, it’s not that big a deal to humor an account, do it, and then he’ll go away.
One imagines that Brian’s thinking was that John gets his record as a present and then Brian would proposition him. There are reports that Brian was successful in this wish. One can imagine his and the label’s eyes popping wide when the Beatles hit and big in England. Recreating the push in the US seemed more than difficult, English groups and rockers had had no future in the US . They just didn’t have it. Tommy Steele, a big thing before the Beatles in England didn’t even make a sound when he flopped in the US.
When the Beatles were going to try the US it was a forgone conclusion that there was no hope that they would succeed. Indeed, before their arrival in the US an album full of songs on Veejay, a nondescript label, was completely ignored. The EMI subsidiary in the US, Capitol Records, had refused the album. Nineteen sixty-four was apparently their destiny and the result was like tornadoes and a hurricane converging. They owned the airwaves with the same songs that had been rejected on Veejay.
Epstein has been derided for not being adept enough to take full advantage of the situation. Caught in the perfect storm in his little canoe, what could he do? He had no experience outside Liverpool, a mere babe in the woods not only in London but the whole world. How could he navigate without a compass? Who was there that could guide him? No one in the world was any more prepared than he.
The result was a tragi-comedy. As fate would have it not only were the Beatles the performers of the century but Lennon and McCartney were the songwriters of the century. They turned out songs by the ream. Epstein signed a bunch of non-descript performers, supplied them with Lennon & McCartney songs and they all had hits. Epstein seemed like a genius but he was only a lucky bum.
And what did it get him? He was sitting across from the two biggest villains in England, murderers, demanding he give them the Beatles.
Well, they didn’t know what Epstein knew. He had gambled away his own money as well as a large chunk of the Beatles. His control would expire in a few months and he feared the Beatles wouldn’t resign at which point he would be in ruins. Brian Epstein did not have an ace in the hole.
The Krays, their blood up, couldn’t understand that NO was a one syllable word. They called Brian in for another tete a tete. We don’t know what was said. What we do know is that Brian drove straight home, locked himself in his room and was found dead the next morning. Whatever was said in the face to face it prevented Brian from imagining a tomorrow.

How to get the context right? In the course of their careers the Krays in a limited manner were integrated into the Twilight World between the Underworld and the Overworld. The Profumo Affair, mentioned before was only a tip of the iceberg. The whole iceberg might be represented by the rise of Satanism which by the early Sixties was slowly surfacing. The basis of the Satanism was the former leader of the cult The Golden Dawn, Aleister Crowley. Crowley died in 1947. His cult grew.
His cult was based on sex magic which aligned him with Freud and Freud’s acolyte the sex magician, Wilhelm Reich. Thus during the Fifties and into Sixties this threesome exerted a powerful influence on sexual mores. Thus, from about the year 1900 Crowley’s ideas and practices, joined by those of Freud and Reich, were slowly filtering into English society corroding the Godly morality into the Satanic. The manipulation is represented in many ways. A transition point from the Godly religion to the Satanic religion happened in 1966. In that year Time magazine in the US published an issue with the cover asking the question, Is God Dead? The answer of course was Yes. This caused a short uproar from the Christians which was probably suppressed. Unnoticed for what it was was a novel titled Rosemary’s Baby published in the same year followed by a movie version in the next year in which Rosemary gave birth to the Son of Satan, little Andy. Thus, the symbolic transfer from the Godly to the Satanic was effected. It is no coincidence that the Manson Affair took place in 1969 in Los Angeles.
It may be a coincidence but the Sgt. Pepper’s LP of the Beatles was released in 1967 with its cover that amazed the world. The cover has been a topic of conversation ever since, now fifty years later. Now the instigator for the design of the cover was Groovy Bob Fraser who was at time under pressure from the Krays to deliver the Beatles to them.
The hard work was done by two other artists, Peter Blake and Jill Haworth with possible input from McCartney. The cover is open to interpretation and been interpreted in different ways, none very satisfactory. I have little knowledge of a correct reading of the cover and offer this as a mere possibility, maybe unconscious on the part or the artists but this interpretation fits the social conditions of the times as well.
The official explanation is that it is an allegory for the Beatles’ transition from the Mop Tops to a serious R&R band. This is certainly valid. The cover shows the Beatles as dead and buried along with their ghosts looking on standing to the left of their reincarnation as Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Still, as there is also a transition from the Godly to the Satanic the scene might also be read as the death of God, as the Beatles are in somber colors and the birth of Satan in the gaudy colors and bizarre outfits of Sgt. Pepper’s. Remember the album was released in 1967 after the Time cover, the book Rosemary’s Baby and more or less simultaneously with Roman Polansky’s movie version.
Filling the rest of the cover is a gallery of 70 historical figures. While these are supposed to represent the Beatles’ close influences actually only 20 some were recommended by the Beatles while one of Lennon’s choices, Adolf Hitler, was rejected. That means that the rest of the pictures were chosen by Groovy Bob and the artists Peter Blake and Jill Haworth, with possible input by others. If one examines the carefully they make the major influences of the English mind of the generation with generous overlap to the US.
At the left top of the cover, overlooking the assemblage, is the dominating face of Aleister Crowley. So, an immediate connection with Satanism is made. Running through the photos and their portrayals a rather dark influence on the mind of the generation is indicated.
This is perhaps to be expected given the youthful experiences of the generation. It comes clearer why the English musicians chose the Negro blues as their means of expressing their psyches. Their psyches were borne down by the sorrows of the Forties and Fifties. Remember the generation only began expressing itself at the end of the Fifties and the beginning of the Sixties. Both the Fifties and the Sixties are sacred decades.
While the Beatles began as chirpers they rapidly turned dark and brooding. And that in such a manner that Charles Manson is said by some to be their disciple. Emerging just behind them were the Rolling Stones, a truly dark and nasty group that openly embraced Satanism. They also passed through Groovy Bob’s Academy of Darkness. Here they especially came into contact with avatars of darkness.
As noted Bob Fraser spent the first couple of years in NYC learning his trade. He met another avatar of darkness there, Andy Warhol. Into the group came the founder of the US Church of Satan, Anton La Vey from San Francisco. Also inducted into Satanism in a serious way was the Angel of the Hipsters, Marianne Faithfull. She would be a sort of guide for her paramour Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones.
Let us leave the Fraser crowd for a while and return to the Krays who would become involved with the Fraser set. While the Twilight World of the hipster underground was becoming enmeshed in the toils of Satanism, the ideology also influenced the Overworld. The Profumo Affair expressed the Overground political cadre mixed with the Twilight World, the Underworld and the Homosexual underground as epitomized by Lord Boothby.
The Homosexual underground was especially nasty while intimately involved with the Underworld of the Krays. The homosexual influence in England during the Sixties is astounding. This group, that included the politician Tom Driberg who was influential with Mick Jagger was especially enamored with young boys and men, thus guilty of innumerable charges of statutory rape. One of their sources for boys came through Ronnie Kray who had access to boys from orphanages. The boys were checked out used and returned, something like a lending library. On at least one occasion a boy was murdered, dismembered, stuffed into a suitcase and left by the side of the road. There was an attempt to expose Boothby but he was able to publicly defy and chastise the newspaper that tried.
The matter came to a head when Ronnie Kray lost his. By 1966-67 the Krays were riding high, open celebrities, seeming invulnerable to the law. But then, in a fit of exuberance Ronnie thought himself superior to Boothby, threatening him and knocking him about. Unrestrained violence was verboten in Boothby’s homosexual underground. So, in beating Boothby Ronnie signed the Kray’s arrest warrant. The good reason for arresting the Krays was the murder of a villain, Jack McVie, and the means for putting the Twins away for life. The real reason, I maintain, is that when Ronnie used violence on Boothby, the latter realizing his danger turned the police loose on the gangsters to do their job. As his procurer, Boothby may have been protecting Ronnie.
The Kray reign of terror, then, effectively came to an end in 1968 when they received life sentences. In the meantime they had begun their takeover attempt of the music industry. I am going to concentrate on only one thread, that of Robert Fraser along with Spanish Tony Sanchez.
Groovy Bob through Warhol was into Satanism. He brought Kenneth Anger of LA over. Anger was an all around weirdo and bore L-U-C-I-F-E-R tattooed in big letters on his chest. He fancied he was the Great Satan. As a Satanist he was associated with Anton LaVey of SF. Also a homosexual he made a series of short films that allowed him to bill himself as an underground filmmaker. His films aren’t much but people who like that sort of thing think they’re great.
Through Fraser Anger became familiar with Marianne Faithfull and hence Mick Jagger. Marianne especially became involved in Satanism on the one hand through the Satanic Process Church Of The Final Judgment and on the other being familiar with Satanic literature including ETA Hoffman’s The Devil’s Elixir and Bulgakov’s The Master And Margarita. She apparently really internalized the books.
It should be noted that when the Stones are mentioned here it really means the two principals Jagger and the guitarist Keith Richards. The other three Stones are not involved in the first two’s escapades. Of them, Keith became a total junkie with substantial needs. There to fill those needs was Fraser’s heroin dealer Spanish Tony. The Stones (read: Jagger and Richards) gave him the nickname simply because he was Spanish.
Tony then became Keith’s main supplier and almost a member of the inner circle very closely connected. As mentioned one of the titles of his books was I Was Keith Richards’ Drug Dealer. Now, Keith put Tony on salary at 250 pounds a week or 18,000 pounds a year, an astonishingly high salary for the times. Keith was not known for being that generous. There must have been a reason. Unable to get their hooks into the Beatles I’m speculating that they forced Tony on Keith’s payroll and were taking a substantial cut of Tony’s pay as a way to get a hook into the Stones or at least part of the take. At any rate Tony became for all purposes a sixth stone while appropriating Mick’s castoff Marianne for his own.
At one time Tony set up a club with gang money provided either by Albert Dimes or the Krays called the Vesuvius. As many key music figures attended the opening it may be assumed that whoever was behind Tony thought that it would become a real money maker. It didn’t pan out. Tony didn’t know how to manage it.
Eventually Tony’s presence wore thin while with the Kray’s in prison control became a little looser. Conditions between Keith and Tony became strained and more distant. Keith was living in Switzerland while Tony was in England. Keith still needed his dope so he would have Tony fly to Switzerland with a supply. Tony wasn’t a fool so he was appropriately suspicious of a set up. He didn’t carry himself, he employed a mule for that.
He also feared for his life thinking, probably with good reason that Keith would have him killed. Indeed, Ronnie died before Reggie and Reggie Kray died in 2000. Tony immediately faked his death and disappeared. So far no record of Tony’s death exists. Keith, of course, is going along as merrily as ever. Although, Anita Pallenberg’s recent demise was taken hard by Keith. Our condolences.

It should be noted that nothing of this is reported by Pearson as he may not have been aware of portions of it while much of it occurred after 1973 when his book was published. When he says that he was learning things he didn’t want to know perhaps the Boothby and Satanist aspects are what he is talking about or perhaps he knew little or nothing about either. At present there is a fair amount of information about the homosexual network that revolved around Boothby while, so far as my researches have taken me there is not much about Robert Fraser and his Satanist influence on the scene. I have seen nothing relating Satanism to the Sgt. Pepper’s cover although there is evidence that McCartney knew something about the Satanist scene as he should have from association with Fraser.
It is important to know that there are degrees of familiarity. For instance, by the late Sixties, Satanism was in the air. I, for instance, heard references but I found it incredible that anyone could believe in the existence of Satan at that late date. I thought it was like an interest in the Rosicrucians or some such. I know people who evidently were familiar with the Satanist Anton LaVey but I had never heard of him to that point while if I had I had no interest and if I had I wouldn’t have had the time or inclination to search further.
Yet, looking back, Satanism was quite strong. As far as I was concerned the strong connection of Jimmy Page, the guitarist for Led Zeppelin was merely rumor. As I was to learn, not so. The Eagles’ Hotel California song refers to La Vey but it made no connection with me although many were in awe of it. When I began to study the Beatles, Stones and British rock scene the Satanism became more real.
While one may think that it was only rock and roll the fact of the matter is that the rock groups and personnel were educating a generation or two and teaching them Satanic ways while disparaging God. Drugs, sex, Satanism, revolutions and rock n’ roll, a neat package. Massive stadium filled concerts. Hypnotic rhythms, the madness of crowds, suggestive lyrics, wild hysteria in the stands, a perfect storm for implanting post hypnotic directions. The Rolling Stones were probably the leaders. The apex of the whole thing, from the English side, occurred in 1966-67. That was really the end or the beginning of the end of Swinging London. As the Stones sang: It’s all over now.
Two key events were the Redlands bust that sent Jagger and Richards to jail, albeit for a very brief time while Groovy Bob Fraser was caught in the snare and did some real time. He never recovered on his release in 1968 so as the lynch pin of that particular musical moment, things fell apart and English R&R entered a new and particularly potent phase that might be called The Sixties Part 2.
In the US where the Fifties style of R&R had been blown away by the British Invasion a recovery began in ’66-’67 that restored some balance while leaving Swinging England behind. The Hippie phase began that triumphed on both sides of the Atlantic.
To return to London. Satanism had taken hold and a man named Donald Cammell decided to make a movie portraying the seedy side of London and R&R and did a bang up job of it. He chose as his lead actor Mick Jagger and some of the Stones entourage. Marianne Faithfull was slated to play the female lead but she contracted pregnancy and was replaced by Keith’s girlfriend, Anita Pallenberg.
Donald Cammell was a lost soul. His father had been an intimate of the arch Satanist Aleister Crowley and had written a biography of him. Donald Cammell had known Crowley. One might say he was raised on Satanism. At one time a successful portrait painter, he had grown weary of the discipline seeking another side of life out there on the wild side in the degenerate world of Bohemianism.
From painting he edged into movie making. He was something of an auteur playing out his subconscious on the screen and not all so subconscious. He was at the time married to Debra Dixon, a model of some taste. Not much has been written about her, but she seems like a subject of some interest but perhaps few sales.
Cammell’s movie unites the most significant trends of the Sixties. If you have the requisite background knowledge it makes for a better movie. The Sixties had seen a Negro invasion of England mostly from the islands of the West Indies. As was expected there was resentment and resistance to this invasion that was overruled by this what? evangelical religious notion of the brotherhood of man and White guilt for having conquered the world? Who are these devious people who have infiltrated the power centers of the world in such a way that they can negate the will of the majority. Who can force on the majority their Weltanschauung that defies all human nature? It seems to be their will that as the West had conquered all peoples that those peoples will now invade the West and destroy its civilization. Who are they? What are their wellsprings of power? Still, while Negroes kept on coming there was no place for them to live. No Englishman wanted to rent to them.
The problem was solved, in part, by an enterprising Jew whose English name was Peter Rachman. Rachman too had survived the war but was permanently ditso by it although according to his biographer Shirley Green (Rachman: The Slum Landlord Whose Name Became A Byword For Evil) the people who knew him well spoke well of him, but the people who knew him well were sleazy people too. He probably didn’t have much of a notion of how people perceived what he was doing.
He finagled decrepit properties which were well beyond the fixer upper stage of deterioration, well into the tear down stage, of which there appears to have been plethora in the Notting Hill area and rented them piecemeal to the Negroes. As they had little money Rachman would rent out each room of each house, perhaps to two or three tenants, he would rent the toilet as a separate residence. It was amazing how many people he could pack into a falling down house. Much of the rental money came from government subsidization.
The Negro men had no trouble finding White women to cohabit with them, then put out on the streets as prostitutes; in fact the two key women in the Profumo Affair came from this environment while pros Mandy Rice was Rachman’s mistress. The house Cammell used in the film was one of Rachman’s located on Powis Square in Notting Hill.
As a Bohemian Cammell was also interested in crime, as a Kray type criminal is a co-protagonist with the Jagger lead. The actor James Fox was required to immerse himself in the gangster life style for months under the tutelage of David Litvinoff, he who had his mouth widened by Ronnie’s sword. It was a devastating experience that sidelined him from acting for years.
Jagger plays Turner, a rock star whose career has entered the downhill slide. His living in Notting Hill was proof enough of how far downhill he had slid. So, in an amazing but degenerate, Satanic, way Cammell ties the whole period together. The images are accurate portrayals of the ideals of the class on both sides of the Atlantic. While the movie was filmed in 1967, production problems delayed its release until 1970, then heavily edited, even expurgated, by which time its impact was lost.
The second key event was the Redlands bust that took place at Keith’s Redlands house in Sussex. The reporting of this event usually reflects amazement that the police would arrest drug users. Drugs were illegal. Everyone in the US who used marijuana lived in fear of being arrested. The sentences were draconian. Paranoia was one of the most used words of the decade. People got incredibly long sentences for possessing one joint. Murderers were released during the Sixties after serving perhaps only three years put a pot smoker could disappear for decades.
Anyone as high profile as the Rolling Stones who were synonymous with heroin and drug use in general, rather exaggerated or not, ought to have been aware that they were under surveillance. There are murky circumstances surrounding their bust but then there may be murky circumstances surrounding any bust. A couple of people are sitting smoking on a rock in the middle of a forest when a policeman strolls up? Well, right.
In the case of the Stones’ bust they were in Keith’s isolated house making no disturbance when a couple dozen cops burst in. Yes, somebody must have notified the police. It is not my intention to go into the details of the bust as they are well described in several books. In fact, Simon Wells wrote a 300 pager about it: Butterfly On A Wheel, The Great Rolling Stones Drug Bust. A good demystifying account can be found in Simon Spence’s history of Andrew Oldham’s Immediate Records label in the chapter It’s All Over Now.
What is important for this essay is Mick Jagger’s reaction to the bust.

The difficulty here is not what happened but the underlying psychology. The world as it existed before WWII had disappeared by war’s end. The generations that spanned WWI and II enduring the extreme economic uncertainties of the thirties had left their mark on those generations. The Generation from 1938 to 1945 that became aware in the fifties knew nothing of what their fathers and mothers experienced while they reacted to the world that existed to their senses, thus there was no gradual transition through generations. The interconnectedness had been cut off cleanly and sharply as the post-war world began.
The old forms, especially musical forms died away while the post-war musical forms gradually shaped into the music of rock and roll. That musuc was alien to the war and pre-war generations, which had stopped evolving under the stresses of memories of the Depression and WWII. Thus, there were not only the normal generational differences but youth was virtually a different species, indeed, the name teenagers first came into use at this time. The older generations did not want to share power with a generation they couldn’t understand and actually despised so the up and coming young were shunned by the older generations who couldn’t understand what the younger generation ‘wanted.’
This was made clear to us when Jagger fresh from jail after the bust was summoned to a meeting, delivered by helicopter, with the people who were basically persecuting him and demanded that Jagger tell them, the older generation, exactly and specifically what his generation wanted so they could give it and understand what was going on so the conflict could be ended. Of course, Jagger was no spokesman for the generation, he was just a singer in a rock and roll band. I’m sure he hadn’t a clue about what was puzzling them while he obviously had no answers.
My understanding of it was that the generation didn’t want anything out of the ordinary, we just wanted to live our lives in the manner we chose. There wasn’t anything to understand.
The world as presented to the generation was just different than the pre-war and war that the older generations were trying to replicate in this different world. While they had their Depression of which we knew nothing, we were growing up in the shadow of Hiroshima. The A-bomb and instant annihilation was an ever present threat. So they mocked Jagger for not being the spokesman of the generation and derogatively dismissed him. While he arrived stylishly on a helicopter they now showed him the back door to exit and find his own way home. It really was enough to piss Jagger off especially as he had just gotten out of jail.
Now, Jagger and the generation had become aware about 1954-55, after a childhood of desperation and deprivation. Having endured that they were faced with their eighteenth and nineteenth years in the enforced servitude of the armed forces, putting their lives on the line. That was a bleak way to begin life. Who needed it?
Perhaps the more sensitive turned inward into the world of music, sex and drugs and, more importantly, revolution. When, in the movie The Wild Ones, the actor Marlon Brando was asked what he was revolting against, he replied, Whaddya got? While that line got a laugh it was probably the truest answer Brando’s character could give. We wanted a way out but we couldn’t find the door.
When the National Service ended in 1960 the generation was freed from an odious obligation. Jagger and Richards were freed from that servitude. They joined the band that Brian Jones was forming. It appears that Jagger was the only member who was political and he was Communist/Socialist. He attended the London School of Economics, the LSE, a Communist college while the band was developing in 1963. There is an anomaly in Jagger’s behavior at this time that needs explaining.
David Bailey, the Vogue fashion photographer, was also a revolutionist, I’m not aware of his politics otherwise, or, at least a spectacular hell raiser. In 1962 Anthony Burgess published his novel, A Clockwork Orange. The book was made into the movie of the same name in 1971. The book sold well but the movie was a real game changer. It is perhaps the most Satanic movie ever made and if not most, right up there in the top tier. The 1971 movie, directed by Stanley Kubrick was pure evil.
I have read the book but I found it dull and sentimental. It may be said, I didn’t get it. The wild boys did, David Bailey did. He, in conjunction with Jagger bought the movie rights from Burgess. Further, Bailey had a plan to make a movie. He went to New York, perhaps to shop the book around and raise money but ended up selling the rights to the artist Andy Warhol, hell raiser deluxe. Andy was just getting into making his special vision of movies.
Bailey took Jagger along. Where Jagger got the money to buy in isn’t clear. And why Bailey chose Jagger to join in is mysterious too. It is true that at the time Bailey was dating the model Jean Shrimpton and Jagger was dating her sister Chrissie but Bailey was very successful and worldly while Jagger was a college student and a fledgling unknown singer in an amateurish rock and roll band. One wonders what Bailey saw in Jagger that turned out to be justified. Perhaps there is something involved in the London School of Economics that we don’t know about.
At any rate, unless Jagger had funds that we don’t know about, Bailey paid Jagger’s way to NYC for whatever reasons we don’t know about where the duo sold the rights to A Clockwork Orange to Andy Warhol. All three, Bailey, Jagger and Warhol become fairly close the rest of their lives until Andy died for real in 1987.
Warhol did make a movie said to be based on the book but you couldn’t tell it by watching the movie. The rights eventually ended up in Kubrick’s hands who made the commercial film. Bailey and Jagger returned to England. At any rate Jagger had connected solidly with Warhol and that would payoff when the Stones arrived in the US in 1964.
Upon Jagger’s return to England, the career of the Rolling Stones began. The first period was from 1963 to 1966 at which time according to Keith he and Mick and run out steam, completely exhausted. A short three years before neither Jagger nor Richards had written a song; by 1966 after a spectacular series of hits they had written themselves out, not unlike Dylan whose first phase also ended in ’66. Thus, as the First Sixties ended the Beatles, Stones and Dylan, the three most important artists of the First Sixties and, indeed, perpetually from then on, were in disarray. All three had to reinvent themselves just as the establishment of Satanism took place. What a coincidence, hey?
Still, for Jagger and Richards ’66 and ’67 would be transformative years, the transformation made urgent their arrest for possession of drugs. By 1966 the Stones as a group and Jagger and Richards specifically were thought to be heavily into drugs. They may or may not have been but if so it as mainly LSD. LSD was only made illegal in 1966 so that in 1967 it was kind of edgy in my opinion to prosecute for it as any hippie used pre-1967 may not have known it had been made illegal.
The drug charges were extremely flimsy. Jagger, for instance, was convicted on the basis of having four tabs of prescription amphetamines. Amphetamines also had been legal over the counter until 1964 when retail sales were stopped but prescriptions were still legal so Jagger’s defense was still valid. Perhaps that is what so enraged him, the charge was not only trumped up but invalid.
Richard’s charge also was very questionable. He was charged with keeping a house for pot smoking. Absurd on the face of it, although he and his friends did smoke marijuana. But, there is justification for both to believe that they were singled out as high profile examples.
The effect on Jagger’s psyche was devastating. Depending on how serious his Satanic investigations were before his arrest he definitely turned Satanic after. Marianne Faithfull herself was deeply into Satanism bringing such texts as Hoffman’s The Devil’s Elixir and Bulgakov’s The Master And Margarita to his attention. The devil’s brew began working on his mind. The first manifestation was the disc Their Satanic Majesties Request in which Jagger sings in the title song: Let me introduce myself… and the introduction was to Satan. At that point, then, Jagger was beginning to assume his role as the Great Satan. He opposed himself to God on the one hand and to the British government on the other as British passports began with Her Britannic Majesty…Requests….
As this mood or fantasy was developing Donald Cammell the movie maker showed up to offer Jagger his role in Cammell’s movie Performance which began filming in July of 1968. This film role was to have an even more devastating role on Jagger’s psyche as it defined his character. Marianne who was close to Jagger at that time said that he began as one person and came out another and never left the role again.
Indeed, the notion of being Satan fermented in his mind probably accentuated by the Satanist Kenneth Anger with whom Jagger collaborated in Anger’s film projects into 1972. Having finished filming Performance Jagger concluded he too could make a film expressing his own anger. That film was made at the end of ’68 titled Rock And Roll Circus. British intelligence was nicknamed The Circus so once again Jagger voiced his resentment of the government.
The film is an alright Rock and Roll film while as a first effort is not all that bad. As with all Rock and Roll films music is front and center. The invited audience are all dressed in yellow and orange Munchkin outfits for some reason, colorful enough. The message of the film is saved for last as the band plays Sympathy For The Devil. During a long instrumental Jagger gets down on his knees and grovels about with what, I suppose, is meant to be a Satanic leer; then he slowly pulls off his shirt, standing up to reveal a tattoo, or inking I hope, on his chest spelling out L-U-C-I-F-E-R identical to the tattoo on Kenneth Anger’s chest. Thus, one is led to believe, the metamorphosis is complete and Jagger has become Satan. One toke over the line.
Then in 1969 Jagger collaborated with Anger in his short film, Invocation To My Demon Brother. The movie represents a Black Mass in which Jagger is credited with a part, or appearance, but I couldn’t pick him out. He did however perform what purports to be a sound track on the synthesizer, one atonal riff repeated throughout the eleven minute film.
Then, to cap the period, on December 6th, 1969 came the Altamont disaster for Jagger and the Stones. The concert was ill conceived and poorly executed. The choice of location was abominable. The Altamont Pass from the Bay Area into California’s Great Valley in December is cold and very windy, strong breezes. The so-called race track they performed on was just a big barren field, a kind of natural bowl. The track had last served as a Demolition Derby so a few old wrecked hulks were strewn across it. A very unpleasant place to sit for a few hours waiting for a concert. Put anybody in a bad mood.
This was not 1965 when some fresh faced kids were trying out marijuana it was now almost 1970 and the audience was battle hardened have been blowing their minds out for at least five years and they looked it; a fairly depressing scene. Of course the Hell’s Angel Motorcycle Club was providing security. These guys were some of the most objectionable people in the Bay Area. But don’t say I said it.
So, in this scene from a frigid hell Mick Jagger in the heights of his Satanic glory, dressed as God only knows what, pranced on stage and launched into Sympathy For The Devil. The scene should have scripted by Charles Manson. There was a killing? What else would you expect?
True, there had been changes of sites each spiraling downward but then events reach their natural levels, don’t they? The Sixties had hit rock bottom and then they were no more. Where was there to go from there?
Fresh troops were arriving. Leading the Satanic corps was Jimmy Page and Led Zeppelin. Mick and the Stones who were having management problems with the equally Satanic Allen Klein changed over to the more gentlemanly Prince (no kidding) Rupert Loewenstein who reorganized the group’s concert methods and put them on the road with stadium concerts to make money as Klein had confiscated their intellectual properties to all the pre-1970 material.
Continuing with Clockwork Orange themes Mick put on some of the raunchiest shows ever seen, not only stretching the envelope but making a new much larger one. Corruption of youth was Mick’s business. But that’s another story; this one ends here.

Our author, Rich Cohen seems to be oppressed by the vision of Jews marching obediently to the death camps in war torn Europe. He is ashamed that Jews didn’t organize and resist the Nazis. Actually those that could did. The Warsaw Ghetto being the most famous example. Of course having no infra structure to support them that resistance, while commendable, was futile. This reaction within Nazi lines was not the same as that by Jews beyond those lines. US Jews campaigned mightily with the full assistance of President Roosevelt to get our men to fight their war for them and succeeded. Jews fought in the Russian army where there was a supporting infra structure. It is also true that the political Commissars attached to the Russian army were nearly all Jews. Their role as political Commissars in the conducting of the war was equal to or maybe even superior to that of the military generals. The Germans have incredible horror stories of the barbarities perpetrated by the Commissars that are equal in horror to anything that occurred in the death camps.
But few people are aware of the Jewish influence in the battle units. Rich Cohen apparently being one of them or he wouldn’t lament ‘weak’ Jews while trying to find heroes amongst a group of barbaric Jewish criminals who operated on about the same level of brutality as the Soviet Jewish Commissars.
Nor does Rich seem to be aware of the attitudes of Jewish-Russian criminals flooding into NYC just before and during the writing of his book. So, this review will roam about a bit in putting Tough Jews into perspective.
In his own way Rich Cohen has written a valuable piece of immigrant Americana. Brooklyn although a Jewish colony was and is a part of NYC and the US. The borough currently functions as the Jewish capital of the US and rivals the whole State of Israel itself. Because his father grew up in Brooklyn and was part of the Jewish underworld Rich is now a very privileged fellow. As Tough Jews was written when Rich was a mere thirty years old, currently turning fifty it is nicely turned out. His father left Brooklyn moving to the equally important underworld of Chicagoland, Illinois. From there Rich attended Tulane University of New Orleans then finding his way to the Big Bagel, NYC.

He had no trouble finding literary jobs with prestigious magazines such as the New Yorker and Vanity Fair, indeed, I am guessing, with the aid of his father’s connections.
His father grew up in Brooklyn with the future TV journalist Larry King so it is hardly surprising that Rich did a stint with the Larry King TV show.
On reading Rich’s book one is haunted by the feeling that, while ostensibly about a group of criminals hardly worth the eulogies Rich heaps on them, there is a deeper more pervading and significant interest. Indeed that interest would subsequently appear in his book, Israel Is Real: An Obsessive Quest To Understand the Jewish Nation and Its History. Obsessive and Nation are key words.
Indeed, Tough Jews might be considered a Volume I of that obsession. That obsession will color my review as I will range wider than a bunch of Neanderthal criminals and I mean no insult to the Neanderthals.
Tough Jews itself is a handsomely written book although one twinges at so many cuteisms that mar the writing, descents into purple prose, but picky complaints aside the book reads smoothly, smartly and coherently at a high level of interest, perhaps lagging a bit around the Abe ‘Kid Twist’ Reles denouement. But that complaint might also be a touch of envy.
Yet, he admires these creeps, these primitives, these brutal beastie boys. And what redeems them? They are Jews. Like himself, like Brooklyn. He excuses them because he confuses their unredeemable savagery with strength. Tough Jews. As he points out these are little fellows in the 5’ 0” to 5’ 2” range, as young men no more than 120 pounds. Any six footer could brush them aside. So what made them formidable? They were ready to not only kill, but mutilate, at the drop of a hat. And they did, often for silly reasons. It was wise to step back from them.
Of course, Rich believes the reason is that they are poor immigrant lads, immigrant Jews who have been brushed aside denied their place in the sun by bigotry. He believes that they couldn’t go to University because all the best schools had quotas, which is not quite true. Hence he believes this criminality lasted only one generation and then the Tribe went straight. Forget the Russian Jews of the 1990s who came in criminal and have nearly completed the task the early Jewish mob undertook. As Abe Reles is quoted as saying his mob wanted to get America by the wallet; in other words by controlling the money, control the society.
Things were not being done haphazardly. They were planned. And they were only a part of the plan. At this point of his life Rich may not have been able to piece things together but he does know the criminals he is describing. And they were tough Jews and as such role models for himself and apparently the Russian Jews who came later. Those Russian Jews had their own legends of how the Jews did things in New York in those early years. Called new Robber Barons by the New York press they apparently believed that they were emulating the industrialists who built the railroads, creating an astonishing steel industry and the oil business. But to mention thugs in the same breath as Ford or Carnegie is an unforgiveable sacrilege. Ford and Carnegie built things and created it, adding to stock. Criminals steal it and diminish wealth.
There are different ways of being tough and there was a small army of tougher Jews in finance, in the universities, in politics. Rich essentially picks up his story with the ascent of the arch criminal and master mind Arnold Rothstein. He was the criminal who masterminded the fixing of the 1919 World Series.
Lepke Buchalter
Nineteen eighteen through nineteen twenty-seven, these were the crucial years of the takeover of Western Civilization. The really critical period was eighteen, nineteen and twenty when the West realized that the ‘Russian’ Revolution was a Jewish affair and that as the anonymous author of the celebrated book The Cause Of World Unrest put it Jews and the cause were synonymous.
In that asymmetrical war following the destruction of European manhood in the shooting war the Jews, united Jews of the world, fought to avoid defeat while at the same time establishing themselves as the dominant guiding role in Western Civilization. They had won primacy in Russia by the 1917 Soviet revolution. It would take them a few more years to consolidate their role in Europe.
Complete success was denied them by the resistance of Italy’s Fascism and Germany’s tremendous Volkist identity. Thus, in Germany it was Jewish nationalism vs. German nationalism. A virtual Civil War in which the only solution was the expulsion or extermination of the other. There is nothing surprising or unnatural in the so-called holocaust. It was inevitable just as the continuing asymmetrical war on Europeans by the Jewish survivors was only to be expected and prepared for.
The economic engine that made Jewish success possible was the plundered wealth of the Rothschilds in Europe and the equally plundered wealth of the US obtained by crime and misappropriation.
Nineteen-twenty provided the setting and the criminal streets of NYC the set. With the advent of the prohibition ‘experiment’ the wealth of the US was laid at the mob’s door. The wallet of the US that Abe Reles was talking about was deftly lifted by Jewish hands.
The engine driver for the early years was Arnold Rothstein, an especial hero of Rich’s, whose usefulness for the cause was gone by 1928 when he was taken out and replaced by Lepke Buchalter who was succeeded by Meyer Lansky after Buchalter was convicted and executed in 1942. Lansky was instrumental in the funding of the State of Israel using money collected by criminal means.
So, all these underworld figures were working hand in glove with the aboveworld figures. The international Jewish government required an enormous amount of money to function and most of these vast sums were obtained by exploiting the gentiles. The Jewish mob was not stealing to live; those enormous sums of money were being funneled into the Jewish World State. As well, Jewish charitable collections were put to political purposes.
Abe Reles
The aboveworld politicians were also out to get America by the wallet. In one of the most wonderful feats of history the Jews pushed through the Federal Reserve Act by which they secured control of US currency receiving interest on every dollar in circulation. What a bonanza. And it was a private corporation owned by nine Jewish banks of Europe and one of the US. The single non-Jewish owner was the Rockefeller combine. And it was a corporation independent of legislative and executive control. Hey, hey, hubba, hubba.
Going into WWI the Jews were advantageously placed monetarily in Western Civilization. The war consolidated their gains and even expanded their influence, without mentioning the elimination of the Czars, thus making the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics a Jewish country.
These astounding successes stirred up a reaction among the farseeing gentiles resulting in publications such as the celebrated The Cause Of World Unrest. This in turn brought out the Jewish Damage Control units that fought back by silencing each and every critic while destroying them economically and socially. The terrorist Anti-Defamation League was very effective at this.
Another of the aboveground threats, this one entirely criminal thus blurring the line between aboveworld and underworld methods was the theft of millions of dollars worth of Liberty Bonds directly from the New York Stock Exchange. The bonds would continue to surface in all kinds of places during the twenties. Not surprisingly Arnold Rothstein had an ample supply.
Of key importance here was the election of the rump of the old political post-Civil War establishment, the three Republican presidents, Harding, Coolidge and Hoover. These three were the last hurrah of the old American establishment. When Franklin Roosevelt succeeded Hoover in 1933 the new Jewish immigration dispensation began.
The years of Woodrow Wilson marked the first penetration of the US government by the Jews. Wilson as well as his Jews were socialists and with the end of the war they established a limited socialist government. They were prepared to go further had Cox and Roosevelt been elected in 1920. Harding’s victory derailed their plans for twelve years and the Jews disappeared from Washington for the interim.
Thus, while Jewish criminals infiltrated further at street level the economic situation in the US government was temporarily out of reach. However, even then the government had no control over the currency. To avoid ‘partisan’ interference the Federal Reserve had been placed beyond the political control of both the executive and legislative branches of government. The Act could have been challenged by the Supreme Court but with Brandeis on it that was not probable and in fact the question didn’t even arise.
Thus, at this critical juncture of the Stock Market crash of ’29 Hoover had had no way to monitor the Fed. The Fed was free to engineer the crash.
All of this did not pass unnoticed by alert Americans; however to point out Jewish machinations was to automatically label oneself an ‘anti-Semite’ and place oneself outside the pale of society. Not that there were not brave men and women. Chief of these citizens was the industrialist, perhaps the greatest American of the twentieth century or ever, Henry Ford.
Jewish historians, of course, portray Ford as an unredeemable bigot who woke one day and declared to himself: I am going to be the world’s #1 anti-Semite. The historians can find no other reason for Ford taking up a very expensive campaign to solve what he and a great many others considered to be the world’s #1 problem. As Ford is central to the American side of the equation, it might be profitable to examine Jewish antecedents.
Without going back to the transition from the Age of Taurus to the Age of Aries when the Jews split off from the universal Astrological religion to create their own, let us look at the immediate cause of Jewish unrest. At about the turn of the nineteenth century expansionist Russia annexed what became the Pale of Settlement that included a major part of Poland. The area had been the refuge of the Jews; it contained the vast majority of Jews in the world.
Meyer Lansky
Under the Poles who had administered this territory the Jews had been a semi-autonomous people to whom Polish commercial affairs had been granted. Autonomy, political equality as a separate people with the host country had always been the Jewish goal. They wanted to be a nation within a nation. Remember the Jews always aspire to autonomy with themselves as the senior party. The Russians denied the Jews autonomy wanting to reduce them to subjects of the Czars. They insisted that the Jews and all the subject peoples become Russian.
By so doing, from the Jewish point of view, the Russians had declared war to the finish on the Jews. From 1800 on the Jews were at war with Russia, or, as the they put it, the Czars. At the time, 1800, the US was not a significant entity but within a couple short decades it would be.
The Jews of Western Europe were emancipated at almost the same time as Eastern European Jewry came under the dominion of the Russians. At the same time the Rothschilds had become the richest family in England and Europe with many other Jews becoming also very wealthy so that there was an economic, if not political equality, if not supremacy for the Jews. The kings and princes, the European nobility, stood between emancipation and Jewish supremacy so that European institutions had to be destroyed. Hence the nineteenth century was a century of revolution and destruction.
By 1870, following the US Civil War it became apparent to the discerning that the US was the country of the future. Thus, about that year their situation becoming intolerable in Russia the great migration equaling that of the exodus from Egypt began. Thus, the Jews in full revolutionary mode boarded the great steamships that parted the Atlantic to the US as the Red Sea had been to Israel and the transfer of the Jewish population began. The Jews did not come as peaceful immigrants but as revolutionaries seeking autonomy or as Abe Reles poetically put it, to get America by the wallet.
They did not come as individuals but as an invasion organized in Europe by wealthy Jews. This was an expensive operation. The way had been prepared for the Eastern Jews by the Western Jewish 48ers, those who fled Europe to escape the consequences of their failed revolution of 1848.
Circumstances had favored the Jews as they arrived just as the great technological revolution of the nineteenth century was gaining momentum. The sewing machine was beginning to revolutionize the needle trades. Thus, the 48ers appropriated the industry for the East European Jews almost guaranteeing employment for them as soon as they landed in NYC. The end of homespun and rise of readymade occurred fortuitously and the rag industry became Jewish. This was not inconsequential but a major coup.
Things became possible that had never been possible before. The great continent spanning railroads had come into existence within a decade of the Civil War. Standard Oil began its rise. It was the Gilded Age, money was there for the picking up for those on the qui vive.
There was a difference between the US and Europe that leveled the playing field between Jews and Aryans. The US had never experienced a Feudal Age; there was no landed aristocracy. It had been born straight into the Age of Money. Whereas in Europe land had been the basis of status and wealth in Europe, in the US land was a nearly disposable commodity, you used it until it was exhausted then moved on. Money was what determined status and money alone. Being a millionaire was the height of success. For the Jews money had always been the symbol of success. In Europe it was necessary for money to displace land to be the signifier so that in that struggle Europeans lost out to the Jews as money displaced land and title.
President Herbert Hoover
In the US money was the object. The question then would be how to outmaneuver the Americans to be the dominant money power. As Europe was insecure and as US Jews became as rich or richer than European Jews the World Jewish Government was shifted to the US at about the year 1900. The great Jewish institutions such as the American Jewish Committee, still existing today, took form. A whole generation of very active Jewish politicians most of whom the ordinary American has never heard of came to the fore. One, Bernard Baruch, would be a major power in US politics through the Eisenhower administration.
It would be tedious to list them at this point when the names mean nothing to you but they will appear. Key to the formation of Ford’s opinion of the Jewish problem was the Wall Street financier, Bernard Baruch. Prewar he made his fortune as ‘the bear of Wall Street.’ When the American entry into WWI became imminent, as Baruch tells it, Woodrow Wilson begged him to enter public service. Baruch did, becoming the Czar of American industry as the administrator of the War Industries Board. It was this point that being the Czar of something became an American cliché, The Czar of Baseball, the Czar of Wall Street, etc. The term has fallen into disuse now.
At the same time Wilson opened the doors of Washington to the Jews who up to that time had been treated more warily. But, as the WIB administrator Bernard Baruch was put in charge of the entire industrial apparatus of the US, all industrialists were subordinated to his authority. He was the actual Czar, autocrat, of Industry. They were accountable to Bernard Baruch and he took advantage of the situation to further his own interests and those of the Jews.
Wilson instituted an unnecessary rigid socialist government in the US during the war. Many old socialist shibboleths were imposed under cover of what was an unnecessary involvement in the European war, such as the nationalization of the railroads which were returned to their owners after the war over strong protest.
The rules Baruch imposed on industry were but little short of nationalization. You may be sure that Ford and other industrialists objected strenuously. But, Woodrow Wilson had made Baruch, not unlike the Federal Reserve, independent of any other authority with full dictatorial powers to enforce his, Baruch’s, will. Baruch did not have to clear his actions with Wilson or anybody else, he had full license. As he said, he was the most powerful man in America and possibly the world save Wilson and his actions were taken independently of Wilson.
Ford and the Dodge Brothers in Detroit strenuously resisted Baruch’s directives, the Dodges especially becoming intemperate, using racial slurs. Baruch did not forget. Fortunately, the war ended before Baruch had time to implement his full program, much to his regret.
Academic historians will gloss over Baruch’s actions as their careers depend on pleasing the Jews but the WIB was a major influence on Ford’s post-war attitudes toward the Jewish problem.
Rich Cohen, writing at thirty, doesn’t seem to be aware of how influential the Jews were as Prohibition began but in both the aboveworld and the underworld Jews were well able to forward their plans.
Prohibition itself provided oceans of money for crime. While the Sicilians are most often associated with bootleg liquor the Jews were immense beneficiaries. Rothstein himself set up the trans-Atlantic route in which his agents made purchases in the British Isles which were then delivered offshore to speed boats that took the liquor ashore. Cuba was a major entrepot but then Canada was showered with gold from liquor sales. The Jewish Purple Gang of Detroit ferried liquor across the Detroit River with no problems. The Jewish Mayfield Road Gang of Cleveland brought shiploads across Lake Erie with little interference. The greatest Jewish beneficiaries of all may have been the Jewish Bronfman family of Canada who were suppling both the Purple Gang and the Mayfield Road Gang. The Bronfmans emerged from Prohibition immensely wealthy and with their established European connections were major post-Prohibition distributors of legal booze.
Rothstein during his brief reign as crime lord also organized the distribution of heroin just before he was shot so that money poured into the underworld’s coffers.
But, to return to the aboveground rollers. Ford read The Cause Of World Unrest and that set him to thinking, and then he read The Protocols Of The Learned Elders Of Zion and that put him in action. It is difficult today to realize the impact of Ford from say 1912 to 1932 both domestically and globally. The Sherwin-Williams paint company used to have a logo of paint pail pouring out over the globe with a slogan reading Sherwin-Williams Paints Cover The World.
Well, so did Ford. By 1920 there were few places in the world that you couldn’t buy a Ford. I have no proof of it but I believe that the Daddy Warbucks character of the comic strip Little Orphan Annie was based partially at least on Ford. Ford’s Service Department was part of an intelligence force not unlike the FBI or CIA or the Anti-Defamation League so it would be unreasonable to think that Ford was not very well aware of what was going on.
His enemies have portrayed him as a rube ignoramus but quite the opposite was true. So, when Ford took up the battle in 1920 he was a very formidable foe to the Jews and the struggle was epic. The main weapon of the Jews, of course, was defamation and the protestation of purity and innocence and Ford over the coming two decades or so was so intensely defamed that even today he is reputationless.
The Damage Controllers of the Jews then first took up the task of discrediting and suppressing the two books they found the most damaging: The Cause Of World Unrest and The Protocols Of Zion.
The Cause was released in the US in 1920 by the prestigious firm G.P. Putnam’s Sons. The book was causing an uproar in England so the notion was to censor it, that is prevent its publication in the US. Distribution was very limited from Putnams who also recalled it. Other efforts were made to publish but they were defeated so The Cause Of World Unrest was defeated by those who call themselves the champions of free speech.
The Jews were never successful in completely suppressing the Protocols of Zion. Numerous versions of the Protocols are still available today although their worth has been superseded by movies and TV which are much better propaganda tools. The Cause of World unrest has been reissued by the Cornell University Press.
Bugsy Siegel
Ford believed that exposure would solve the Jewish problem so he bought a newspaper called the Dearborn Independent. Dearborn, Michigan was the location of his first major plant. Today the city is a Moslem center. He thus created what was perhaps the first attempt at a national newspaper as the paper was distributed throughout the US and actually abroad.
It was not necessarily a propaganda sheet. Ford was in many ways a social reformer. He objected to nearly everything in what later generations called the Jazz Age. One of those things were scandalous newspapers devoted to crime, sex, and carnage. Indeed, although this is not well known Ford ran one of the three largest movie studios in the US. His films were, of course, devoid of sensationalism, devoted to educational topics. We were still shown some in ’48 and’49 in class.
The Dearborn Independent was a sedate, wholesome weekly that featured an expose of Jewish activities in the US on a weekly basis for a couple years. The articles were then collected into four small books titled The International Jew. The articles infuriated the Jews and evoked an hysterical reaction from the aboveworld Jewish government but there was no handhold for a major lawsuit.
The international Jewish government was composed of people you likely have never heard of but were hugely influential in US politics. Louis Brandeis and his understudy Felix Frankfurter, Brandeis a Surpreme Court justice and Frankfurter a future one, Jacob Schiff, Louis Marshall, president of the AJC, Samuel Untermyer, Rabbi Wise among others and, of course, the ubiquitous Bernard Baruch, all wailing behind the scenes. William Fox, the Fox of Twentieth Century-Fox. The whole Hollywood establishment. All of them were arrayed against Ford. It was worse than today’s war on President Trump. Their chief weapon was the anti-Semite slur and Ford was labeled the Anti-Semite in Chief.
The goal of the Jewish establishment was to disable any critics as anti-Semites. A key goal was to make so-called anti-Semitism a legally sanctioned crime, a punishable offence as it is today in France. They achieved this goal in the Communist Soviet Union at the time so such a law in the US would be an extension of the one of the USSR thereby assuring such such a law would become universal.
The anti-Ford campaign would climax in 1927 in the Sapiro-Ford trial in which the goal was to make criticism of Jews a legal offence. Thus Louis Marshall, the president of the American Jewish committee sat in his New York cubby hole like a spider tracking a fly- the fly being Ford.
As I said above, in 1918 the Dodge Brothers- Dodge Motors- used language offensive to Bernard Baruch in the contest of wills over WIB directives. Baruch never forgave them and two years later the brothers died under mysterious circumstances. As mentioned, the Purple Gang was in Detroit, so an attempt was also made on Ford’s life when his car was forced off the road, very nearly pushed into River Rouge. The defamation had already taken effect so that Ford was treated as semi-deranged while it has been generally accepted that he staged the accident himself, while no explanation has ever been offered why he would have done so.
Franklin Delano Roosevelt
Still, the articles continued and still the Jewish establishment was outraged. But, the US Constitution guaranteed free speech while Ford’s articles were firmly grounded in fact. They were exposes not defamations. Ford himself did not write the articles, that task was delegated to his editor William Cameron for whom Ford amassed a colossal library on Jewish subjects. His agents in the Service Department were busy investigating in the field. Ford did not do things by halves.
However, while criticizing the Jews was not illegal, the Jews had made it the extremity of gauche in gentile circles so that Ford found himself increasingly ostracized but not estranged. Believe me, he had friends in high places. A letter purportedly from President Harding is extant deploring Ford’s exposes and asking him to desist. Perhaps a forgery. At any rate about 1923 Ford agreed to publish no more articles, but the collected articles remained available in The International Jew series. The extant articles were probably as much or more than the public could absorb.
But, then, in 1924 it came to the attention of Ford that a man named Aaron Sapiro was attempting to organize farm co-ops in a manner Ford considered injurious to the farmers as they were in fact. Once again Ford sent investigators into the field to get a clear idea of what was going on. He once again began publishing his findings in the Dearborn Independent. This may or may not have been a setup but it seems clear that the proceedings were directed by Louis Marshall and gang in New York City. Samuel Untermyer.
The evidence implicated Bernard Baruch, Albert Laker and Eugene Meyer as well as Sapiro. Sapiro whose fortunes were on the decline may have instituted proceedings in the hope of a large settlement but as he turned the trial into a crusade to end ‘defamation’ of the Jews it became a move to make criticism of Jews illegal and punishable as it was in the Soviet Union.
The trial was something of a farce that ended in a mistrial when it was learned that Sapiro tried to influence a juror, jury tampering. Whether a new trial would be adjourned or not, Ford, in the midst of a critical model change, decided to call it off, made a settlement and walked away.
It is interesting that within the next year he traveled to New York City to call on Louis Marshall in his cubby hole. According to Marshall (see Letters of) they sat and looked at each other then parted. Marshall died soon after.
With the settlement of the Sapiro case the damage control in the US was complete although in Europe Adolf Hitler was on the rise and in a few years would be elected Chancellor of Germany setting off a huge reaction among the Jews of the US.

The Jewish government or establishment whatever you want to call it failed in the attempt to establish a semi-legal principle that criticizing the Jews was a punishable offense; however they did effective damage control and by defaming Ford silenced any further criticism of themselves. Henceforth any such criticism war strictly verboten.
Mr. District Attorney, Thomas E. Dewey
Ford was not their only target; scholarly writers like Madison Grant and his volume: The Passing Of The Great Race as well as several volumes of the Harvard historian Lothrop Stoddard detailing an accurate account of current affairs and their logical consequences. By the early forties such writers had been so thoroughly defamed that they lost all credibility. Indeed, the Jews placed them on their index of forbidden books.
The Jews were also moving forward on several fronts. Their further goals were made feasible by the assumption of the presidency of Franklin Delano Roosevelt in 1933. As Herbert Hoover, who preceded Roosevelt may be said to represent the last of the post-Civil War ‘American’ presidents, so Roosevelt inaugurated the era of the immigrant presidents. FDR was a strange case. There was none with a more American heritage than he. He went back to the old Dutch knickerbockers, the first settlers of Manhattan. The fellows with the beads. Yet there is no president more representative of immigrant America than he. There has never been a president more tender to the Jews and their Communism than he. This tenderness also embraced by his wife Eleanor.
This tenderness began to show when they were quite young. The fact is that when the Jr. League of society women was formed to work the Settlement House scene of New York City after the turn of the century Eleanor participated and she dragged her soon to be husband, Franklin, along with her. The impetus for the Jr. League was railroad magnate E. R. Harriman’s nineteen-year- old daughter. Harriman was associated with the aboveground Jacob Schiff and the Kuhn-Loeb crowd. Kuhn-Loeb was the Jewish investment banking firm on a par with J.P. Morgan. Why these young society women chose to go to the Lower East Side to cater to raw immigrant Jewish women with no ‘upbringing’ or manners is a bit of a mystery. However a lifelong bond between the Roosevelt’s and the Jews was created. Indeed, it may be said that the Jews took the couple under their wing.
It was an irrational bond in which the Roosevelts seem compelled to accede to Jewish wishes. I’m going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the Roosevelts were hypnotized on the Lower East Side and implanted with post-hypnotic suggestions. Manchurian Candidates as it were. I imagine I hear you guffawing but the idea may be more reasonable than you think.
Bear in mind that these Eastern European Jews all came from the Pale of the Settlement. The assembly point for the trek to the transports in Hamburg, Germany was in a town called Brody on the Austrian border. As the assembly and departure point Brody assumed an interesting character. The trek to Hamburg passed near Vienna. Vienna was a hotbed of Jewish aspirations, a Jewish culture center. Vienna was also the home of the famed psychologist Sigmund Freud and the most active branch of the International Order of B’nai B’rith. Freud was a lifelong member of BB from 1895 to his death. He often lectured at the meetings on what must have been psycho-analytic matters including hypnosis. Freud was a supreme authority on hypnosis. Freud hated Europeans and European culture and wanted to see them all dead.
Key people on the trek made a layover in Vienna where along with Freud a number of organizers, all prominent well-to-do men lived. Vienna may have been the most important Jewish center of Europe. How improbable is it that they were given instructions on how to go about furthering objectives in the US? No stretch at all. One must also remember that key American Jews took long vacations in Europe every year. One imagines that Vienna was a favorite destination so coordinating plans would have been convenient.
Freud quite likely indoctrinated key people in hypnotism who spread it further so that many on the East Side would have been knowledgeable. What better method to gain the loyalty of the upper crust of society than through these philantropizing young girls of the new Jr. League?
So, Franklin Delano Roosevelt just drifted into politics with some pretty hazy political notions. It just so happened that a little way down the road from Hyde Park a family of Jews named Morgenthau lived. The Morgenthaus were very active Jewish nationalists. Morgenthau Sr. at one time served as ambassador to Constantinople, now Istanbul. Constantinople was a key destiny post and for many years a Jewish prerogative of US diplomats.
Henry Morgenthau Jr. attached himself to Roosevelt like a limpet. Whether he was a guest at Hyde Park or not he made himself a guest anytime there was activity there. In time, when FDR became president, Henry Morgenthau Jr. more or less made himself FDR’s Secretary of the Treasury. He constantly tried to expand his role in that position. He was in command of the money. The Treasury was filled with many Soviet spies.
There was also a very strange relationship between the Jews, Governor Al Smith of New York State and Roosevelt. Smith who was governor of New York for the critical period of 1918 to 1928 with a two year hiatus from 1920-22, was managed by the Jews also. His principal monitor was a woman named Belle Moskowitz. FDR was being groomed to be Al Smith’s successor as governor. When he was elected Eleanor advised him to be wary of Moskowitz. When he was struck down by polio this caused a certain amount of panic as Smith was set to run for president in 1928.
Louis Howe FDR’s political manager and Eleanor Roosevelt kept FDR in the game while he was flat on his back. As 1928 loomed it was necessary for FDR to succeed him. Roosevelt who was desperately trying to regain the use of his legs at his spa in Warm Springs was unwilling to abandon his quest but Smith put the screws to him. FDR ran and won by a narrow margin. Smith embraced a forlorn hope of displacing the Republican Herbert Hoover during the greatest boom the US had ever seen. Naturally Smith was wiped.
Smith was discarded and replaced by Roosevelt as the great Democratic hope. Easily winning reelection as governor FDR prepared for his presidential run. His replacement as governor would this time not be a gentile stooge but an actual Jew, Herbert Lehman.
Had Hoover been able to maintain prosperity there is no chance Roosevelt could have been elected in 1932. It was therefore necessary to arrange an economic disaster to give Roosevelt his chance. The disaster had been in the works for a couple years and the plan was sprung six months into Hoover’s presidency. The event was the great stock market crash of 1929. The Democrats spent the next three and a half years trying to prevent a recovery. The crash has been discussed endlessly with many different arguments but the end result was as desired. FDR succeeded Hoover.
This was not an ordinary succession but a sea change in the direction of the country. The old order of the Gilded Age and individualism had drawn to a close; the new Jewish Age of collectivism began as Hoover had predicted it would. In the Old Order the government had served the people; in the new dispensation the people would serve the government. Thus, the Jewish order in which the Jewish people served the synagogue was transposed onto the American system.
Accordingly Jews flowed back into Washington DC. The groundwork had been prepared by Supreme Court justice Louis Brandeis and his Harvard law professor acolyte, Felix Frankfurter. Since the ‘teens Frankfurter had been indoctrinating a generation of law students into Judeo-Communists; they now infiltrated every branch of government as Roosevelt created new jobs to accommodate them. This invasion of government was not unnoticed as his disciples were known as Frankfurter’s Happy Hot Dogs.
Roosevelt also allowed Communists of every stripe and then denied their politics. The first year was a busy year as among many other things the administration turned on the institutions, the ideas, the politics and the mores of the Old Guard hoping to stomp them into the ground, eliminate them completely. The notion wasn’t too different from that of the revolutionist, Victor Hugo, who wanted to exterminate the old believers because they could never be converted, or what was going on in the Soviet Union where old style Russians were being murdered wholesale, starved to death or sent to the gulags.
The revolution of ’17 was being completed in one way or another around the globe. In the East the Japanese were alarmed trying to set up a defensive perimeter in Northern China and Manchuria. The Soviets hurried to annex Outer Mongolia so the border between the Communists and the Japanese was roughly that of Outer Mongolia and Manchuria, or, Manchukuo as the Japanese styled it. While the US government was Red leaning, the American people were anti-Communist. The Japanese confused the two thinking they and the US were a united front against the Soviets. They learned too late.
Taxing became a major weapon in the Jewish assault on the Western peoples. In Europe, so long as land was the measure of wealth and status then the value of the land had to be destroyed. The great holdings had to be eliminated. Confiscatory taxation was a weapon of mass destruction on the economic front as starvation was the weapon of choice on the social front. It would take a generation or two but the old nobility, land rich but cash poor would have to sell out taking their useless titles with them.
In the US where money had always been the medium determining wealth and status it would only be necessary to destroy incomes and estates. Once again confiscatory taxation was the weapon of choice. Just as the object in Europe was to destroy the old aristocracy replacing it with themselves so the object in the US was to destroy the Old Money of the Gilded Age.
A campaign was directed at inherited wealth which was characterized as evil. The great Gilded Age fortunes had to be destroyed. That meant that in addition to confiscatory income taxes of up to ninety percent so the inheritance tax was raised to 90 percent shattering this value and impoverishing the inheritors. To add insult to injury a capital gains tax was placed on holdings commensurate with other confiscatory taxes.
One has no pity for the fortunate but while land was not the issue those with money had expansive life styles that could longer be maintained, could no longer be afforded, but with everyone in reduced circumstances there was no longer any market for the properties and what with property taxes they became less than valueless. Million dollar mansions became worthless destroying that wealth.
To take only one example, a bete noir of the Jews, William Randolph Hearst, ostensibly worth millions, was instantly placed in bankruptcy. He narrowly evaded it but only under the most humiliating circumstances.
A leading Jewish advocate of this holocaust, the writer Gustavus Myers, was advocating the prevention of large fortunes being accumulated in one’s own life time. In other words, after a cutoff point of X dollars one presumes the individual is prevented from working. That would have a very salutary effect on initiative. Myers crowed that with FDR in office they had their man to realize this insane hope. Fortunately FDR either didn’t go all the way or the Jewish purposes crossed with the rise of the beginning of the WWII, the matter was set aside and forgotten after the war, although confiscatory taxes continued for some time until the injustice was abated. The war intervened and the gentile wallet was saved for a decade or two. It is clear that the aboveground and underground were working together.
Through the thirties then Jewish moles were busy in the underworld, the aboveworld and the netherworld of politics. FDR brought Prohibition to an end upon his entry into office in 1933. This caused a certain disturbance in the underworld when their chief occupation as bootleggers was brought to an end. New vistas opened up however. The sale of addictive drugs grew by leaps and bounds while in the 1960s drug usage entered the mainstream of middle class America. The grip on America’s wallet grew stronger.
While J. Edgar Hoover and his FBI may not have recognized organized crime those more immediately affected recognized the monster when they saw it. That would be New York City. A rising DA by the name of Thomas Dewey seized the snake by the tail. Beginning in the mid-thirties Dewey began the effort to bring the mob to book. He succeeded admirably even getting the mobster-in-chief, Lepke Buchalter arrested.
As well as his extortion racket to milk NYC businesses of the tens of millions, Buchalter had begun a lucrative business of his own called Murder, Inc. Assassination was his business. The business model could be traced back to the Jewish Old Man Of The Mountain of Crusader Times. He is not be confused with the Ismaili cult of assassins led by Hassan-i-Sabah in Iran. He was separate but in the same business.
Murder Inc. was responsible for hundreds of assassinations having a whole stable of killers. Buchalter was first arrested by the Feds, Hoover had been prompted to deal with him, probably because the Mob gave him up to reduce the heat, but the City of New York wanted him to be relaxed to them to be tried on murder charges. They had a bear of a time getting him out of Federal hands.
In one of those hard to explain Roosevelt moments, FDR refused to release Lepke to a certain death sentence. When his hand was forced and New York tried Lepke and sentenced him to the chair there was an incredibly obstinate attempt to prevent his execution. This definitely would have had to come from the Jews who seeking to protect one of their own, wholesale murderer or not. So, we don’t just have a bunch of neighborhood lovable thugs here, we have the head of Murder, Inc. and his people are trying to prevent his execution! Rich Cohen can amaze.
The Jews obviously put tremendous pressure on FDR to prevent Lepke’s release from Federal custody but in this tug of war to bring Lepke to justice apparently Dewey’s men were stronger but even then their determination to put Lepke down over what must have been tremendous pressure from Brooklyn is truly astonishing. The Jews don’t often lose. They even finally got Pollard out.
However, the pressure applied by Dewey on the Mob scattered them from NYC fearing they might be next. Meyer Lansky fled South to Miami and crossed the water to Cuba to thoroughly corrupt that country. He made Havana the gambling Mecca. Gambling seemed to be the new Prohibition but the habit had been prevented by law and few seemed to be complaining about it. However, Lansky’s partner, Bugsy Siegel, chose as his place of exile Los Angeles. LA was close to Las Vegas. Gambling in Nevada was legal but the desert seemed to provide an unattractive environment,
Siegel, though, looked at it and saw opportunity. Naturally a barren desert, Las Vegas would soon be on the shores of Lake Mead, created by Hoover Dam (named Boulder Dam during the Roosevelt years, FDR hated Hoover and did all but blacklist him.) Water, the missing ingredient.
Bugsy Siegel set about creating the gambling oasis of Las Vegas. A new bonanza appeared in Nevada but reserved for the Mob. Prohibition was gone but the Mafia had landed on its feet. The Jews found another way to get America by the wallet. And this time they wouldn’t be ashamed of it. In the twenty-first century they opened the The National Museum of Crime to celebrate their greatest criminals. The National in the title didn’t refer to the United States.
This does imply intent and volition, a pre-conceived plan. Let us compare these nineteenth century immigrants to a Jewish immigration of the late twentieth century.
This group of so-called immigrants also came from Russia and they had learned their criminal skills in Russia. They all had Israeli passports, actually being Israeli citizens while claiming dual Russian citizenship. Whether they added US citizenship isn’t clear as they always had to be on the qui vive to evade the law by hopping back to Israel from which they couldn’t be extradited. In fact, these people were a global criminal network. They were not only busy gutting the US economy- getting America by the wallet- but they and their confederates had stolen the public assets of Russia during its privatization scandal. They were a problem throughout all Europe at the same time. Masters of banking schemes and human trafficking, a synonym for prostitution.
As usual the filmmakers are the people to go to to get an idea of their activities. Somehow the movies always get the details first and right.
Rich doesn’t get around to examining this latest Jewish migration in Tough Jews nor even in his Israel Is Real. The latest immigration from Russia seems to be a grab and smash involving the whole world, grab the really big wallet. The banking system that grew up to launder the huge amount of criminally gained cash is a story in itself. Not here and now though.
Tough Jews is a good read from more than one point of view. It has something to say about the Jewish colonization of Brooklyn, the Jewish role in crime, the US during the first fifty years of the twentieth century and the organization of a national crime syndicate. I don’t think Rich’s Jews are shown so much as tough though, just murderous and amoral.
Why they would build a museum to celebrate these guys is beyond me.

Bob Dylan: Livin’ Life On The Fly

Bob Dylan created the character of Bob the Drifter back at the beginning of the Sixties. He has since done his best to live the life of the ultimate drifter. Early influences on the persona were probably Hank Williams musical alter ego Luke the Drifter and possibly Simon Crumb the alter ego the country singer Ferlin Husky. His immediate role model was definitely Ramblin’ Jack Elliot who was born Elliot Adnopos making his adopted goyish name a cover for his Jewish identity much as Bob Dylan was doing. Thus these two very Jewish guys have lived out their lives under assumed goyish identities.
Like Ramblin’ Jack Bob Dylan further patterned his life on the life of the goy drifter Woody Guthrie.
Bob learned Jack’s style when both men lived in the early sixties folk environment of Greenwich Village in New York City. When that particular bubble burst in the mid-sixties partly through the machinations of Dylan himself who introduced electricity into the Greenwich Village folk scene a dispersion took place.
I say partly because seemingly unnoticed by everyone while being completely overlooked today The Lovin’ Spoonful with the really legendary John Sebastian and Sol Yanovsky had used an electric guitar since early 1965 while also writing their own songs.
After leaving recording for a year or two after 1966 Dylan led a sedentary life in Woodstock New York with his wife Sara and a growing family. The call of his destiny on the road was too strong with Dylan gradually edging back to the role of the roving hobo.
Mentally adrift for most of the seventies and eighties Bob then devised the perfect drifter life. He became a drifting troubadour. He not only roved but he made it pay to the tune of a billion dollars or more. He got himself a couple buses and phased through several identity crises. He styled his drifting as The Never Ending Tour.
While living his early years in Hibbing Negro music appears to have made no impression on him. He does say that he listened to Black music over the radio on stations blasting up over the central plain from locations such as Shreveport but I don’t detect that influence in his music too much. Of course, once in New York he saw the necessity for Negro roots and reacted socially.
Dylan does however know all the great C&W tunes and artists. His first great plagiarism was from Hank Snow one of the absolute greats. C&W was however not mainstream. In the peculiar White mentality C&W was rejected as ignorant White hillbilly music and I mean rejected. You had to cover up your liking of C&W as though it was the original sin. On the other hand with that peculiar mentality of Whites they were able to embrace equally ignorant Negro ghetto music as their own. I could never figure it out.
Dylan didn’t try. Sometime before he got to UMinnesota in the Fall of ’59 he realized he wasn’t he wasn’t going to make it as a rocker so he switched to Folk from Fall ’59 to January of ’61 when he left for NYC. At UMinnesota he had listened to a few Folk records while someone gave him Woody Guthrie’s autobiography Bound For Glory so that in some mad burst of teen infatuation he came to the conclusion that he was the reincarnation of Woody Guthrie. He adopted the persona to the best of his ability beginning to create a hokey Oklahoma drifter’s accent and vocal style.
One gets the impression that his folk act in Minnesota was raw enough that he was merely tolerated. Bob, himself, knew he was a genius so he took his half-digested act East to New York City in that January of ’61. But he was wary. Cagey then as now he decided to scope the scene before he burst upon it.
While arriving in NYC in January he didn’t make his official appearance on the Village scene until late February. Dylan himself explains that missing period by claiming to have been hustling his buns in Times Square. People have refused to take him at his word but why would he say it if it wasn’t true? Why would he say it even if it were? Dylan had very low self-esteem at the time while being a very serious drunkard. At UMinnesota he had blottoed out and spread out on the ground at full noon in the main crossroads at the U. You have to glory in your shame to do that.
We don’t know how much money Dylan had when he stepped out of the car in NYC although he was never really broke when he buskered on the street; his Ace In The Hole was the folks back home. They did send him money.
Perhaps though Dylan was so down so low that he needed to debase himself in the worst possible way. He probably did stroll 42nd St. looking to be picked up. Perhaps receiving money picked him up a little; gave him value.
As he scoped the Folk scene and picked up the odd dollar he was devising a persona to splash into the scene. His persona was totally absurd and his Ten Weeks With The Circus story would be, or should have been, seen through before he got it out of his mouth. This was sophisticated NYC for Christ’s save, New Yorkers have seen and heard every hustle ever devised. You couldn’t fool them so they must have been humoring Dylan.
Nobody could have done all the things he said he’d done and graduated from high school two years or less earlier. He also tried to conceal that he was Jewish which seems ridiculous to me, but then Dylan didn’t see the obvious Jewishness of Jack Elliot so maybe it’s just me. Anyway it took these sharp New Yorkers a year or more to figure Dylan was a little Jewish kid.
Dylan had analyzed the scene well. He realized he couldn’t go in and do what everyone else was doing. Besides there were a lot of good guitarists in the Village and Dylan wasn’t one of them. He had to shake the scene up a little. At the time the Village Folk scene was a bore. Folk was on the down trend. The New Lost City Ramblers, one of the more formidable Village folk groups were so trite they were unlistenable. While not on the Village scene I was aware of the phonograph records made by the artists and quite frankly I was amazed that anyone would record those people. I mean, like Dylan, I was a hillbilly. There were many amazing records being made by real folk artists like the Carter Family. These pale Village imitations by middle class Jews aping the mountain people were far less than authentic.
So Dylan practiced this garish voice, blew harmonica in an incomprehensible way and banged the guitar in an equally noisy and unmusical way. Bud and Travis couldn’t play guitar either. It boggles your mind to watch them flail the instrument.
People that say they liked his first couple records may very well be telling the truth but the truth is virtually no one bought them. Fortunately Dylan soon learned to write songs. They too made little impression as sung by him; sung by others, such as Peter Paul and Mary they sounded good enough to become hits. Of course, Peter Paul and Mary had that religious sounding name and earnest style that opened a lot of doors for them.
Nevertheless by 1964 Dylan was beginning to make a name for himself as a songwriter so that people were more willing to accept his bizarre performances. Andy Warhol said that Dylan began by singing political protest songs then shifted to singing personal protest songs. That change began about 1964 with his Another Side Of Bob Dylan LP.
His friend and sometime road manager Victor Maymudes said that all Dylan’s songs were about his girl friends. If you read his lyics with that in mind they will make more sense. You still have to work at it though. The language he uses really obscures the content.
It was at this point that Dylan went electric and moved out from his folk cover (Dylan said that his folk music years were just a shuck.) and began his conversion to rock and roll. Dylan began performing in high school as a Little Richard clone so the move should come as no surprise knowing what we do today. When his rock and roll phase ended in 1966 Dylan then returned to his basal influence C&W.
As he shifted to personal protest on a rock and roll frame he made his impact as ‘a spokesman for his generation.’
Dylan was never a spokesman for the generation but he was a spokesman for people with the same psychosis as his. Dylan was unbalanced as were all the people who took his message. I was one of those who Dylan characterized as ‘abused, misused, strung out ones or worse.’ Dylan converted his angst into sexual frustration and his sexual frustration into lyrics. We weren’t able to understand the lyrics because we were looking in the wrong place but we understood the songs perfectly on the subliminal level. Dylan’s psychology matched ours.
Dylan’s last album as a New York folk singer, Blonde On Blonde, also expanded his audience while also confusing those who weren’t on his wavelength. That is, people who hated him, and largely for psychological reasons, were forced to acknowledge him. At the time the LP was so far outside our musical experience that we literally had heard nothing like it before. Little Richard redux.
On the other hand I realized that he had peaked in that style and would no longer be able to continue in the same vein. At the same time the pressures of the previous five years on Dylan were such that his mind was at the breaking point and actually broke. He probably had what was called a nervous breakdown. Shortly we heard that Dylan had been in a motorcycle accident and might be dead. He wasn’t, of course, and it has never been reliably determined that there ever had been an accident. His brother David just laughs it off while many others reduce it to the equivalent of a mere scratch. Dylan himself says that his manager Albert Grossman was driving him so hard that it was killing him. He had to stop and catch his breath or die.
Dylan hadn’t yet learned to live on the road; he would master that later.
At any rate he had married his Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands, Sara in 1965 and needed time out to raise a family. He did do that.
Regardless of whether he had been hurt or not he was not musically idle. About a year and a half later in December of 1967 he released the awaited new LP John Wesley Harding. The LP was a total rejection of his first incarnation. He used a crooning voice backed by a C&W band. He returned, as they used to say, to his roots. He was no longer a trailblazer, just a C&W singer. While I knew he would not follow up in the same style I was stunned by the reversion to a conventional country style. At that time no one knew that his roots were C&W.
I loved the instrumental backing of his three big albums but had no interest in what seemed to be pseudo-country with rather ordinary lyrics. (Let Me Be Your Baby Tonight.) I abandoned him completely and never have gone back. This was 1967. The next wave of the British Invasion was in progress and it was astonishing. The music was all fresh and picked up where Dylan had left off. The sounds were all new like you’d never heard before. The lyrics were nearly as inscrutable as Dylan’s. Dylan was not missed by me nor a lot of his former fans.
As I said Dylan was not idle; he was busy. The evidence of that appeared six months after John Wesley Harding. Music From Big Pink by the Band. This was relatively sensational music and lyrics. Of course The Band was Dylan’s back up and his association with Big Pink buttressed his reputation a lot. And then the legend of the Basement Tapes appeared that was even more tantalizing than the actual music although the songs from it that appeared by other artists were remarkably good.
So while Dylan left the Sixties with a much diminished reputation it was on a positive note.

The Never Ending Tour
While talent such as Dylan’s was is important, talent will not out without good luck and a helping hand. Dylan undoubtedly had both. There has always been some mystery about how a half skilled musician could show up in Greenwich Village in March 1961 and be signed to a record contract with Columbia Records seven months later in October.
People who had been around the Village were just blown away when the news got out. Dylan’s talent was not that obvious to everyone. Many could not see it at all. He couldn’t play guitar and he couldn’t blow the harp. His voice, at the time, was so raw it grated, and still does for me. He hadn’t written a song in those seven months so his much vaunted songwriting skills weren’t in evidence. Yet Robert Shelton, the music reviewer for the ultra-prestigious New York Times gave him a rave review that amazed everyone. John Hammond of CBS signed him virtually without hearing him. Other CBS staffers had such a low opinion of Dylan’s talent that they called him Hammond’s Folly. Was there something going on behind the scenes, was something happening here that the Village couldn’t understand? Listen to Positively Fourth Street and Something Happening again closely.
Well, you know, I’ve thought about this and studied this and I’ve put together the following scenarios for your delectation. Granted it is highly conjectural yet based on facts.
Remember that Dylan is Jewish and New York City including the Village was and is a Jewish colony. Being Jewish in the Village did and does count.
Back in Hibbing Minnesota the Jewish community was three or four hundred strong while Dylan’s, or Bobby Zimmerman’s, as he then was, family was chief among them.
Both Dylan’s father, Abram Zimmerman, and his mother, Beatty Zimmerman were of the Frankish sect of Judaism. Dylan’s Jewish name, Sabtai, was derived from the last acknowledged human Jewish messiah. This undoubtedly indicated the high hopes Abram had for his son as a deliverer of the Jews; in other words, a messiah.
Father Abe was the Anti-Defamation League representative in Hibbing. That may have caused some friction between himself and the goy townsmen. There seems to be an undercurrent of resentment both to Abe and Bobby Zimmerman in Hibbing. As an Orthodox Jew Abram had connections back in New York probably with the Chabad Lubavitcher sect led by its chief rabbi, Menachem Schneerson. Abram traveled frequently on religious business including to NYC.
Abram wanted son Bobby to also embrace the Lubavitcher sect. Thus, as Bobby approached thirteen and his Bar Mitzvah Abram sent back to New York for a Lubavitcher Rabbi to come to Hibbing specifically to educate Bobby in the Lubavitcher belief system. This was the rabbi Reuben Meier. In full Lubavitcher gear he was an anomaly in Hibbing where according to Dylan he embarrassed the Jewish community.
As Dylan tells it he got off the bus one day, spent a year teaching Bobby ‘what he had to learn’ then got back on the bus presumably returning to NYC his mission accomplished.
Dylan has or had a messiah complex. Still, as he observed the fate of Jesus (look what they done to him, he said) he was unwilling to pick up the cross thus never declaring himself. Still Abe had connections in NYC that could be and probably were useful bumping Dylan’s career along.
I haven’t found any evidence that Dylan ever contacted the Lubavitchers once in NYC but then it can’t be ruled out and he didn’t have to. His father could have worked with them unknown to Dylan. Still, Dylan later in life did associate himself with the Lubavitchers. Could be coincidence, of course.
Shelton who wrote his glowing review of Dylan worked for the New York Times which was and is owned by the Jewish Sulzberger family. Thus in all probability Abram called in some favors from the Lubavitchers to forward Dylan’s career. Among them Abram had some position, and asked them to make sure that Dylan wasn’t overlooked. Thus within the synagogue, so to speak, Shelton wrote his actually preposterous review of Dylan.
Now, Shelton came to New York from Chicago in the late fifties. Dylan’s future Jewish manager Albert Grossman also came from Chicago where he had owned the seminal folk club The Gate Of Horn. Shelton knew Grossman in Chicago where he wrote reviews of the folk acts.
When Grossman went East for whatever reasons in 1959 he helped found the Newport Folk Festival with the Jew George Wein. Thus the Newport Folk Festival was a Jewish organization giving them the control over who could and could not make it. Grossman hung around the Village analyzing the talent as he had plans. He didn’t necessarily let the acts come to him but he went out and created them as in Peter Paul and Mary which was his total conception. Sensing the direction of things he realized that a trio of two men and a woman with the right lineup would succeed and spread the message. His final choices were two male Jews, Noel Stookey who became Paul and Peter Yarrow and a woman Mary Travers. He chose well.
Prodded by Shelton Grossman took a look at Dylan but could see no use for him until Dylan began to write. At that point he fit into Grossman’s plans who then created Bob Dylan as a commercial entity. Dylan justified the confidence in himself when he scored with the puerile Blowin’ In The Wind. Dylan was still unlistenable to most people but with the voices of the more musical Peter Paul And Mary he began to establish his reputation as a song writer.
The Synagogue was behind him so that coupled with his talent he was given maximum and incredible exposure. Now, Peter Yarrow who was very close to Grossman, one might say almost a collaborator, said that without Grossman there would have been no Peter Paul And Mary and more importantly no Bob Dylan. Yarrow believed that Dylan’s success was due to Grossman. Luck was with Dylan then when Grossman came to town a couple years before he did while Shelton was there at the Times. You must have that luck. Grossman definitely nurtured Dylan as a songwriter and put his career on track. Whether Grossman was connected to the Lubavitchers isn’t clear but I’m sure the religious connection was there. It was all within the Synagogue; strictly a Jewish affair.
Those who closely analyze Dylan’s songs love to point out the Biblical references with which his songs have always been replete. Indeed, when Dylan was writing John Wesley Harding his mother who was visiting him during the period says that he kept a large Bible open in his living room that he would jump up to consult it from time to time. Obviously the Bible informed his lyrics as he dealt with his injunction to be the new messiah, if I am correct in my analysis.
His religious training would surface in the seventies when he explored Jesus’ relationship to the Jews. Contrary to what people believe Dylan never turned to Christianity, he was interested in the Jewish Jesus cult. At the same time he was getting the Christian take on Jesus through the Vinyard Fellowship he was studying with the Jews For Jesus cult. Indeed, when he came out as a Jesus freak at the Warwick Theatre in San Francisco Jews For Jesus people were used to proselytize outside the theatre but not the Vinyard Fellowship.
Having satisfied his curiosity about Jesus he next showed up in full Lubavitcher gear in Jerusalem. The Christians were stunned at the seeming turnabout. Rabbi Reuben Meier had not failed the Lubavitchers back in the fifties in Hibbing. Dylan came home.

Jewish self-confidence was ruined in the wake of WWII but began to resume with the establishment of Israel in 1948. A feeling of power began to revive after the 1956 war; then after the Six Day War of 1967 a feeling of invincibility seized the Jewish mind. Born in 1941 Dylan was 26 in 1967. In 1968 the aborted Paris insurrection took place.
As a result of the Six Day War the New York Rabbi Meir Kahane organized the Jewish Defense League (JDC) as a terrorist organization from which came the JDO or Jewish Defense Organization. The JDO was murderous. Both were terrorist groups who engaged in serious bomb attacks in NYC and assassinations. It was pretty nutty.
At roughly the same time the Weatherman group was formed that was a combined Goy and Jewish affair designed to bring down the US government. That group was headed by the Chicago terrorist nutcake Bomber Billy Ayers. The JDL, JDO and Weathermen traced their origins back to Dylan while including Dylan as one of them. Dylan had JDL members as bodyguards and possibly JDO so at one time he seems to have been a member. More regular Jews warned him to dissociate himself publicly from the JDL and JDO so that he did disassociate them from himself at least as far as one can see.
Dylan’s association with the Weathermen if it existed was more tenuous. It would be interesting to know if through Greil Marcus Dylan knew Ayers. All groups considered Dylan a revolutionary. This could easily be inferred from songs like Subterranean Homesick Blues and Ain’t Going To Work On Maggie’s Farm No More plus many of his Negro protest songs.
Now, when Dylan was awarded the French decoration, The Legion Of Honor, in 2015 he was commended for his contributions to the Paris insurrection of ’68. What those contribution were weren’t specified; it may only have been the moral support of his songs that the revolutionaries heard as a call to arms. Or perhaps Dylan functioned as a courier during his tours throughout the world. It wouldn’t be the first time entertainers were used as covers.
In 2007 when Sarkozy had been elected President of France one of the first things he did was to call a number of people to Paris to receive awards. Three relevant Americans made the trip, Dylan, Greil Marcus and David Lynch the filmmaker.
As it turns out Dylan and Greil Marcus are or were fairly closely associated. Marcus was ostensibly a music critic for Rolling Stone Magazine, another Jewish set up, but he was also a member of the French Jewish revolutionary group, the Situationist International led by Guy Debord. Debord and his SI claim to have been the moving force behind the Paris revolt thus tightening the connection between Marcus, Dylan, the SI and the Paris insurrection. Dylan was also associated with the revolutionary group centered around John Lennon and his widow Yoko Ono.
Now, in 2001 Dylan, Marcus and future president of the United States Barack Obama were in Chicago as associates at the time of 9/11. Dylan’s LP Love And Theft was released on that date that has references that seem applicable to the destruction while Marcus published an article shortly thereafter that seemed to celebrate the attack. So Dylan’s actions seem to point to revolutionary ends.
Now, as Dylan was touring the world from the Sixties through the present he may have been a courier connecting global revolutionary activity. It would not have been wise to communicate by phone or internet in later years as phones and electronics are easily tapped so it would be necessary to communicate by hand delivered messages. Such services would have been invaluable while coded messages in songs or interviews on radio and television appearances are possible. Eric Burdon formerly of the Animals was arrested by the German authorities on that suspicion.

After nearly a century since Adolf Hitler was made chancellor of Germany his role in the events of his times has never been clarified. The victors, as is said, write the histories to their advantage. The victors were the Judaeo-Communists and in their version of history Wolf Hitler is the supreme villain, the scapegoat to bear their own sins into the desert. But does a review of the period from a more objective viewpoint demonstrate this to be true? I think not. I think the perpetrators, the real aggressors, the Judaeo-Communists, project their own villainy unto Hitler and the Nazis.
Hitler operated within the framework postulated by the Jews who were over fifty percent of every national Communist Party, the remainder have to be viewed as their confederates. Let us review what the Jews and Communists did and what they would have done had not Nazi Germany stood between them and the total destruction of civilization.

Contrary to all expectations the Bolshevik Revolution succeeded first in Russia rather than in Germany as was supposed. Having seized the government of Russia in 1917 there was a large question as to whether they could keep it. Resistance to their rule was fierce if futile in the end. Armed resistance continued for at least three years in what the West considered a civil war but which the combatants believed was a continuation of the World War. Indeed, the English, French, Japanese and Americans maintained forces within Russia for those years.
The world justifiably feared a Bolshevik victory, for in fact the Bolsheviks utterly destroyed civilization in Russia returning the country to a state of barbarity. Perhaps the barbarity was of such a quality that it wasn’t a return but a new thing, unseen in the history of the world before. It certainly burst upon European sensibilities in that way.

Europeans watched aghast as all the appurtenances of civilization were stripped away leaving a desolate starving people to exist as they might as Soviet hounds murdered and arrested filling concentration camps with the least of the dissenters and critics.
In addition to Lenin proclaiming the world wide Bolshevik Revolution he created the Communist International sending agents to every country in the world to create discord. Revolutionary attempts were fomented in Germany in several places as in Hungary, Poland and Vienna. At the same time soviets were organized in England, France, the US, everywhere. It truly looked as though the Bolsheviks would triumph worldwide.
Screaming their war cry of expropriate the expropriators, loot the looters, the Bolshevik government stole anything of value from private citizens while looting the public treasury and the churches. They took priceless artefacts and whatever gold they could find. Hitler was a mere piker compared to the Soviets.
Having completely ruined the ample Czarist economic basis in the mad orgy of looting the Bolsheviks learned that without production there was nothing to tax. The revolution found itself penniless except for the expendable wealth accumulated under the Czars. But once that was gone and it went fast when everything including food had to be purchased from outside the country so that the Bolsheviks were reduced to bartering diamonds, jewels, old paintings, furs, the Church icons. Nor did the income go to feeding the people, the leaders had fleets or Rolls Royces, also looted, that had to be maintained.
One good thing about the impoverishment of the people is that there were no other cars on the road to interfere with Lenin’s and Trotsky’s driving pleasure.
As I say, the Europeans viewed this folly aghast as they desperately put down all the revolutionary attempts. They could imagine the purges of tens even hundreds of millions murdered or gathered into concentration camps as slaves to be worked to death.
But, what if the Bolsheviks had succeeded in conquering Europe which they would have done except for one shining knight who arose in Germany, Adolf Hitler. Hitler formed a barrier to keep Soviet armies from overrunning the West but he couldn’t defend against ideological encirclement.
The struggle then is not between countries but between ideologies. How many ideologies were involved? There

was Communism and its variants, of course, Fascism which incorporates Nazism. Nazism itself was a form of German nationalism not differing from Jewish nationalism. There was the International Money Trust that sought domination through banking and currencies. They today are in the saddle. Most in importance was international Jewry. All these ideologies were competing for world dominion. A common thread among all was the interpenetration of International Jewry.
Some might object to treating Jewry as an independent political entity. Some might call such an inclusion anti-Semitism. Both depictions would be wrong. The Jews do and have always considered themselves an independent, that is, autonomous people merely residing among the gentile nations. They are and always have worked for their own paramount interest over all others. Thus the real effect of their working within the other ideologies is to bend them toward their own objectives. They imagine that when the smoke has cleared they will be atop the heap.
Wolf Hitler discerned this quite clearly and he perceived that if the continuing European Holocaust of the Judaeo-Communists was not stopped the terrifying destruction of European civilization as in Russia would be repeated in Western Europe, thus he courageously interposed Germany between the Soviets and West in an attempt to save Civilization. It is on this basis that many people consider him a religious savior on the order of Jesus the Christ. Whether true or not it was at the sacrifice of his own life and that of the German people that the West was spared the worst of the Bolshevik Revolution although still involved in the European Holocaust caused by the Judaeo-Communists, the war was more than terrifying.
In the absence of Hitler’s heroic leadership let us extrapolate the events in Russia throughout the whole of Europe. Let us suppose as the Jews fantasize that they had succeeded in assassinating Hitler in 1922 and the Communist revolution instead of failing in the West had succeeded. This is kind Ray Bradburyish but this cis-science fiction.
There would have been no US intervention in the twenties so that the US based International Money Trust would have been in a position to nearly seize the European remains. Fascism would have ceased to exist so that in the temporal sense the Communist victory would have been complete.
In terms of ideology it is important to understand the Jewish relationship to Europe. It was, is and remains antagonistic to Europe. One only has to examine Barbara Spectre’s current Paideia Organization to determine that. The antagonism was both to Europe as a civilization and its customs and mores. When one of the leading lights of the Jewish revolution Sigmund Freud writes that then current morality revolted him he means European customs and morality as opposed to those of Judaea. He further says that he intends to eradicate European morality. There is no reason to doubt him or that he was very successful. He was a leading agent of the Jewish revolution although his role has been well concealed.

The Jewish revolution itself is well explained by the American rabbi Abba Hillel Silver in his book History Of Messianic Speculation In Israel. He writes that after the failure of the messiah Sabbatai Zevi in the Seventeenth Century the elders decided to never rely on a single messiah again but the Jewish people as a whole would work for their own redemption. God was thus melded into the Jewish mentality and Judaism became wholly secular. All this chat about ‘secular’ Jews as opposed to religious Jews is utter nonsense. Trotsky, for instance, was a Jew, period. The years 1913 to 1928 were designated as the time of redemption. These dates would have been remarkably accurate except for the interposition of Wolf Hitler. He was a real spoiler.
While events can never be exactly planned if one is alert one seizes one’s chances. Having begun the World War that nearly destroyed European civilization a remarkable piece of good fortune for the Bolsheviks occurred when the Germans transported them from Switzerland to the Finland Station in 1917 put the Jewish triumph within its reach between 1917 and 1928.
Having murdered their three hundred and some odd year enemy the Czar the Jewish revolution roared back into the West from Russia in the early twenties and could have succeeded except for the fact that German nationalists led by Hitler were capable of seizing the State, although legally and democratically elected, and smashing the Judaeo-Communist conspiracy within Germany. Miraculously foiled as it were the Jewish revolution was able to adapt to circumstances and prosper.
Now, how demonic was Hitler in relation to the society created by Judaeo-Communists after 1917. The Reds, for a convenient inclusive term, developed the notion of mass murder or genocide after seizing power in Russia. They created concentration camps and slave labor well before Hitler became chancellor in 1933. Hitler was merely acting according to the political mores introduced by the Judaeo-Communists.
And so, at great cost to the German people he prevented the realization of the Jewish Thousand Year Reich or Millennium from occurring. Let us suppose for moment he hadn’t and after 1922 the Jews had realized their two age long dream of establishing themselves as the Princes of the Earth. What would have happened in Western Europe?

The final Jewish goal is denationalization, is sowing confusion by the bastardization of other nations, lowering the racial level of the highest, and dominating this racial stew by exterminating the volkish intelligentsia and replacing it with its own race.

Hitler was living within history, hence was able to analyze and extrapolate historical trends. He dealt in realities and not inner wishful thinking. Therefore the Jews and allies have portrayed him as stupid and demented. Judging from current realities in Europe and North America Hitler’s quoted analysis above is beyond prescience. Those with less acumen find the above quote ‘nutty.’ I have to confess that I wouldn’t have understood what he was talking about a few years ago. It now appears Wolf understood the Semitic mind perfectly.
There can be no other purpose in flooding Europe and the US with racial ideological peoples who have nothing in common with the West except perhaps a nebulous and inconsequential ‘humanity.’
Understanding, then, Jewish goals Hitler moved to abort them. In this he was temporarily successful. Having now recovered the Jews have once again moved to the offensive. They now disclaim any affiliation with what they call Whites proclaiming in their recently formulated mantra: I’m not White, I’m Jewish.
But, what if Germany had not interposed its body and the Jewish led Bolshevik assault on Europe had succeeded? The riches of two thousand years of European civilization would have been at the feet of assembled Judaea.
The accumulated wealth of Russia had seemed vast but it was as nothing compared to the rest of Europe which was a real Aladdin’s cave. As in Russia the Jews would have destroyed the economic structure that created wealth. Once they had done so the Communists belatedly realizing that they had destroyed the productivity of the country and the need for money to rebuild it did the only thing they could do, they turned to West and said: Come. Make us whole.
While after the conquest of Central and Western Europe that economy would have been destroyed, the waste land would have stretched from the British Isles to the Pacific shore. Of course there was still the simple minded United States although in the twenties not yet under Judaeo-Communist control. Normalcy ruled there. Still both American and Jewish bankers in the US actually were eager to invest in destroyed Russia and they would have been just as eager in destroyed Europe.
The Jews, then, would have occupied the castles, villas and stately houses amassing estates, jewelry, tens of thousands of fine paintings, the big automobiles as was done in Russia. Huge amounts of Russian jewelry, paintings and artefacts had been delivered to Vienna for the delectation of wealthy Jews. How many of those stolen paintings were later appropriated by the Nazis isn’t clear. But none were returned to their former Russian owners.
And as was done in Russia to the Russian Orthodox Church the Jewel of the West the Roman Catholic Church would have been vandalized to the great satisfaction of the Jews, gratifying their hatred for Christianity to the point of satiety. For two thousand years the Catholic Church had contained the Jews defining their place in the European polity.
When the French Revolution mistakenly dissolved the restraints releasing the Jews as an army of asymmetrical warriors the misguided but benevolent Europeans were doomed. In their ridiculous altruism they didn’t even know a war was going on except for the besmirched ‘anti-Semites’ such as Wolf Hitler.
The Europeans fancied that the Jews accepted and were playing by the rules Europeans had devised. They weren’t, that’s the essence of asymmetrical war. Hey, they were playing by a different set of rules dissembling the Europeans. Thus, after the Bolshevik assault the Europeans failed to recognize that the Bolsheviks were essentially operating under Jewish rules so they failed to adapt their rules to fit the ‘new paradigm’, that setting the new rules for how the game was played.
As Darwin pointed out, in evolutionary terms when one species fails to adapt to new circumstances it is doomed to extinction. Darwin uses as an example the invasion of the small Asian cockroach into Russia that drove the larger but less aggressive Russian cockroach to extinction. So the Bolsheviks manhandled the Europeans.
The West was presented with no choice but to do what the Judeo-Communists and Nazis did: establish concentration camps and toss the enemies of civilization into them. Yes, the state of affairs had come to that. Adapt or perish.
Thus, had the Bolshevik assault on Europe succeeded in the first rush millions upon tens of millions would have been either murdered outright or sent as slaves to Siberian concentration camps to be worked to death under the most deplorable starvation conditions. To hear the Jews complain that they lost a couple million in their war of conquest merely raises a smile. There are risks in any enterprise.
Was Wolf Hitler the most evil person the world had ever seen? Not hardly. Within the new mores established by the Bolsheviks his response was, shall we say, normal. To say Hitler was demented is to unjustly single him out from even worse in the asylum.
And then there was the Roman Catholic Church, the supreme Jewish bete noire- Christianity. The Vatican the greatest treasure trove in existence. Killing the Czar would be meaningless next to killing the Pope and the whole College of Cardinals. You think it wouldn’t have happened? Look at how the Jews have compelled the simpleton on the Papal throne to crawl before them now. See how they have forced him to endorse the bastardization of Europe by the invasion from Sub-Saharan Africa and the Moslem world. True, the Jews don’t have the manpower to do actual battle with the Europeans but they can import untold millions who can just as in the US the Jews are using the Negroes and immigration to dominate he Aryans. They’re not White, they’re Jews.

Wolf Hitler did not start the war with the Jews that became WWII. That war officially began in 1933 when the Jews declared war on Hitler. Once again, the Jews had no means of waging war except through the virtual control of Western governments especially the US and USSR. Thus, if the Jews paid the supreme penalty of having lost a few million, if that many were, the fault was none but theirs. No guilt accrues to the Aryans.
If the Jews did lose a few million that was as nothing compared to the tens of millions of dead Europeans and the near utter destruction of Europe and its civilization. Freudian fantasies realized.
There is no need to shed tears for the Jews, we should look to ourselves. We should reexamine the roles played by the Jews, the Bolsheviks and Germans and, I might add, the US itself.
This reevaluation has actually been going on more or less clandestinely for a few decades increasing dramatically recently but so far making no dent on the public consciousness. Jewish propaganda is preponderant.
There can be no question but that Wolf Hitler was a great Aryan hero. If some consider him a god there is reason to do so. Perhaps the Jewish Revolution was a time of heroes. There are those who consider Leon Trotsky to be the greatest Jew since Jesus which is to say a god. Stalin himself wielded power as a god murdering at will and not just one or two people but tens of millions, the whole intelligentsia of Russia, the most productive and intelligent cultivators of the soil, anybody who did not embrace the Red religion. Roosevelt to some was a supreme hero while, I’m sure, a god unto himself.
Wolf’s role was to defeat the Jews and Bolsheviks which at great cost to his people he did. The end result of WWII was that the Bolsheviks were contained as what the Jews considered to be Fascists seized the US and Western Europe dividing the world into ‘Fascist’ and Communist spheres. But, that’s the way Jews and Communists think. There are only two sides, us and them.
Of course the war did not end with Hitler’s death but continues to this day in what appears to be more than a hundred years war. The Jews are waging asymmetrical war, a propaganda war, a psychological war. Having enlisted the Negroes on their US battlefield they direct their antagonism toward ‘Whites’ who they say have no place on Earth. Thus in preparation to protecting themselves from Negro antagonism they are projecting themselves as not White but Jews. ‘I’m not White, I’m Jewish.’ A new propaganda device has been developed in the fanciful belief that by declaring the words of the song that the Negroes will disregard their skin color and lose their hatred of the Jews qua Jews earned because of long Jewish exploitation of them.
As Einstein said that a definition of lunacy was doing the same thing over and over expecting different results, so the Jews are once again creating a disaster for themselves.
Wolf was no more evil than Trotsky, Lenin, Stalin and, If I may so, Roosevelt. Wolf adapted to the mores of his times created by the Jews and Bolsheviks themselves. It is important to remember that they set the tone of the times, all others followed their lead in one way or another.
The other White governments refused to adapt, preferring to follow what were ineffective superseded mores that could only have led to their ruin. In the twenties there would have been no US intervention in the Bolshevik takeover of all Europe and the destruction of its civilization and mores. The Freudian game plan would have been completely successful. The Jewish conquest of Europe and Christianity would have ushered in their so-called Millennium.

The success of the Bolshevik Revolution essentially replaced Nationalism with Internationalism or Collectivism or in the political and economic terms of the time the opposition was styled Capitalism and Communism by the Communists. I will refer to the two ideologies as Individualism and Collectivism.
As loyalty was then not based on nationality but on ideology after 1917 the concept of treason changed also. Thus a Communist Englishman could betray his State while being loyal to his ideology. As the socialist homeland was the Soviet Union loyalty was thus attached to the Soviet Union, or Russia in the common parlance, thus being double treachery. This was ill understood at the time and may be so today.
When the Comintern, or Communist International in longform, established stations in cities such as Berlin, Paris, London and New York the Comintern agents had a large supporting network of local sympathizers or Fellow Travelers cooperating with them against their States. As the war was between light and dark as Pepper stated all opponents were evil and styled Fascists. Every State was veined with Communist operatives. As the Communists were trying to subject each State the operatives had every reason to deny who they were. Denial became their way of life, dissembling their method.
In the Soviet Union controlled by the Communists, the Reds, could operate openly as themselves and they did, killing, starving and running Siberian death camps for any that opposed them. There was only room for one ideology, it could live while all others must die as Pepper said. ‘WE have had to come to the decision that one or the other shall live…’ Pepper was obviously a Collectivist and not improbably a Soviet agent. Alert observers in the West could not hope but notice this putting them into violent opposition. It became necessary as Pepper said to stamp the Other flat, dead.
Huge security organizations arose in all the States. Numerous revolutionary attempts were made in the various States as the Bolsheviks were leading an international revolution hoping to establish Communism in one fell blow. The revolutions in European States are easily identified while that in the US is characterized as social disturbances.
The great social disturbances of 1919-21 were actually part of the revolution but have been misrepresented to appear as just spontaneous social disorders. However the disorders do appear to be part of an organized plan.
They certainly appeared that way to Wilson’s Attorney General A. Mitchell Palmer. Palmer arrested thousands, deported hundreds and harassed the rest. As might be expected this very reasonable man and able AG was depicted as a deranged monster by Communist sympathizers who suddenly appeared out of nowhere. To this day the campaign against Mitchell is carried on.
Surveillance systems at the time were primitive compared to today but with all the bomb throwers and crazed radicals running around fairly openly in the land of the free it would seem impossible that the Justice Department wasn’t keeping tabs, therefor one has to assume that Mitchell Palmer must have known what he was doing. He cannot have been entirely off base in his arrests regardless if some mistakes were made or not. The Communist Children Of Light were hustling people off to the death camps at the same time.
Most significantly the opponents of Mitchell’s actions were those who sympathized most ardently with the Soviet program. These people were also the first to call those who opposed Collectivist activities Fascists and Isolationists in the next decade. One therefor has to applaud Palmer for his prompt and effective actions. He saved the country from a revolution that would have been as bloody and repressive as that in the Soviet Union. Remember, according to Pepper only the Collectivists could be allowed to live. The Justice Dept. in fact was responsible for disarming the Communist threat as their tight surveillance continued through 1919, ’20 and ’21 when the Harding Administration broke up the Grand Rapids, Michigan convention that drove the Reds completely underground. The Harding administration outlawed the Communist Party, made it illegal, for a brief period in 1921 until the Soviet sympathizers had the law repealed as ‘un-American.’ The Comintern continued their activities in the US drawing complaints from Coolidge and Hoover. A condition of Roosevelt’s administration in recognizing the Soviet Union was that the Comintern cease American activities. Of course the agreement was ignored while the Party quickly infiltrated FDR’s government. Thus the so-called war to save democracy was subverted in every way in favor of totalitarian Communism.
In point of fact all of the various national Communist Parties were well over fifty percent Jewish. This fact is no longer denied although the Jews vehemently denied it at the time. Thus the Jews and the Communists were irrevocably opposed to any other ideology but their own. That means it was intent to infiltrated and overthrow all non-Communist governments.
As FDR expressed it there were totalitarian aggressor nations and democratic peace loving nations of which the former were evil and the latter righteously virtuous. Roosevelt identified only Germany, Italy and Japan as aggressor nations and he demanded they be quarantined or in religious terms, ex-communicated, made outlaw nations beyond the law.
What these ‘aggressor nations’ had in common was that they were all staunchly anti-Communists. It therefore follows that all other countries had a strong enough Communist presence so that they were no threat to the Communist ideology, given time and patience they would be brought within the Pale. That also means that Roosevelt was a Communist as would later be proven in his obeisance to Stalin in WWII.
The key figure in this political configuration was Joseph Stalin. He accepted the role of coordinator of worldwide Communist activities. Thus, as pointed out above through the Comintern he established subversive nodes in all the Western capitals. While nationalistic feelings were still the standard, nationals ideologically attuned to Communism served as conduits of sensitive material to the Soviet Union central node of Moscow and Stalin. Thus one had dozens or hundreds of Dreyfuses funneling information to the enemy.
Stalin and the Soviet Union, then, was actually the key aggressor operating through the various Communist Parties. In the East Japan was the enemy of Communism. The Soviets were able to create a strong Chinese Communist Party in the South of China. The Japanese countered Soviet aggression in North China and interfered with the Soviets in Outer Mongolia where Soviet aggression was complete while at the same time Soviet infiltration of Sinkiang province in China’s Northwest was accelerated.
As Japanese activity in North China from Manchuria, or Manchukuo as the Japanese renamed it, became more effective Stalin moved the Chinese Communists under Mao Tse Tung, Ze Dong as he is currently styled, North as a buffer between the Soviets and Japanese. The Japanese remained a source of anxiety to him in the East as Germany was in the West. If he could maneuver the US into a war with Japan in the East he would then have a free hand against Germany in the West.
In the West after 1933 and the accession of the Nazi’s the Axis ‘aggressors’ merited watching. The Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler, was an effective leader. No one in the West had expected him to be elected as the leader of Germany. He was universally despised as an upstart while the Jews especially considered him dangerous.
Serving as a corporal in the WWI he had served honorably and meritoriously having been decorated twice. Post-war he served in German intelligence given the task of monitoring a Munich Volkist unit. As their ideology meshed with his he took the Party over renaming it the National Socialist German Worker’s Party, the NSDAP or Nazi’s. In the aftermath of the war Communist revolutionaries flooded back into Germany from Russia fomenting several revolutionary attempts which were defeated by the various Volkist units. Thus from the end of the war until the Nazi success of 1933 there was perpetual street warfare between the Judeo-Communists and the Volkists, after 1924 mainly the Nazi Party.
The Germans had been betrayed by Wilson and his Fourteen Point proposal. The Fourteen Points was actually a peace offering, a request for an armistice, that is a laying down of weapons on both sides allowing the struggle to be mediated. The Germans were tricked as when they lay down their arms the Allies didn’t preferring to believe the Germans has been conquered. Nor did the war end there as the Allies continued the blockade of Germany for months after the armistice starving innumerable Germans to death. Quite vicious when you think about it.
Having fooled the Germans the allies showed them no mercy imposing draconian conditions on them while forcing them under duress to sign a document confessing that they alone were responsible for the war.
Psychologically of course the forcing of the confession was a confession of their own guilt projected on the Germans. The French as in WWII were the most vicious of the lot. There was no affront or indignity too slight or too evil to heap on the Germans. Bringing in African troops after taking over the Rhineland they quartered these still savage tribesmen in German homes. Granted a carte blanche to abuse the Germans the Negroes took full advantage of it. German husbands and fathers were afraid to go to work as their women folk were raped and abused by the savages. Such was only one insult and injury.
Remember that German hatred was shared by all of the allies. This hatred was carried to the point of genocide as allied bombing of German cities and civilians in WWII would prove. Is it any wonder that Hitler and the Nazis acted aggressively then to recover their dignity, manhood and self-respect. Recent scholarship is bringing to light Hitler’s reluctance to go to war He is now beginning to be portrayed as more reasonable but seventy years of the most hateful propaganda is difficult to reverse.
For the Jews Hitler was a menace before becoming Chancellor and Reichs-Feuhrer. Remember the German Communist Party was at least 60% Jewish so all those street battles were largely between Volkists and Jews with the Jews getting whipped, many of them interned immediately in concentration camps. There can be no surprise then that after 1933 the Nazis outlawed Communism and disenfranchised the Jews. A war between Jews and Germans had been in progress for decades and nearly a shooting war between 1917 and 1933.
Today the Jews are at war with the Whites of America having been successful in imposing civil disabilities on White males essentially placing them outside the law. Who is to say then that Wolf Hitler was not prescient in taking the precautions against the Jews that he did? If the Jews had won, what then?
As Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf that he knew that if the Volkists lost the war their head would roll in the sand. That was a true statement as events in Russia after the Bolshevik Revolution had shown. If the Jews had beaten the Volkists in Germany multiples of six million would have been murdered, if not perhaps the entire German nation. Don’t waste your sympathy on the Jews; they have plans for you.
As we will see, by 1940 Theodore Kaufman had articulated those plans calling for the physical extermination of the Germans that was legislated as the Morgenthau Plan under Roosevelt four years later. FDR would have gleefully implemented it. Thank God he was called to the Bosom Of Abraham before he had the chance. Even Truman had to kick Morgenthau out of his cabinet to forestall the annihilation of Germans.
So the period from 1933 to 1942 in the US was one of preparing for and fomenting war against Germany to gratify the Jews. Make no mistake the US began preparing for war in 1933 when Roosevelt assumed the presidency.
The Communist ideology had been stalled from 1921 to 1933 by a succession of Republican presidents- Harding, Coolidge and Hoover- who were ardently anti-Communists. To be anti-Communist was to be anti-Jewish, that is anti-Semitic. For that reason all three presidents have been defamed as great failures. The period is derogatively styled ‘Normalcy.’ The ‘failing’ of course is being of a different and more successful ideology than the Communists.
Harding inherited the mess of Wilson’s last two years when the latter was incapacitated. The failed revolution of 1918-1921 was still raging. A wave of ‘criminality’ was surging. Post office robberies were rampant, even to the looting of pick up boxes. Harding’s Post-Master General Will Hays quickly cleaned up that mess. In 1920 Jews had stolen twelve million dollars worth of Liberty Bonds to help finance the revolution. Within six months all this was cleared up. Compare the stolen bonds with the Jewish counterfeit German money that Mussolini showed Ambassador Phillips. Why rob banks when you can manufacture all the cash you need.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation was established to deal with the rising malfeasance. J. Edgar Hoover was appointed Director in 1924 beginning his long career. Hoover was death on Communists. However having been reinstated as a legal Party they were immune to arrest per se. A powerful tool had been removed through the influence of covert Reds

As closet Reds then, the Communists always had to deny themselves. They infiltrated the media the better to bore from within. It was necessary to adopt a Red or ‘Liberal’ line for authors to get published. As one editor said: all the best writers are Communist leaning. Learning the ropes meant that a writer adapted to the new conditions just as today to get published you have to be pointedly, Leftist, pro-homosexual, pro-Jewish and a Feminist as well as being slavish to Negroism.
When Roosevelt came in the Reds came out quickly moving in on Hollywood as the talkies came in allowing a better means to get the message across. Protected by the Roosevelt Administration Communist infiltration of the movies didn’t become a real issue until after Roosevelt died and then the Hollywood investigations began along with the Communist blacklist instead of the opposite and the yelping about injustice began.
During the Republican Interregnum or Normalcy or the New Era, the period was rife with titles, all three presidents were interfered with by the Comintern causing at least Hoover to complain. The undermining became obvious during the Hoover presidency when the engineered stock market crash came down and a great depression began. Continued prosperity would have meant a continuation of Republican ‘American Plan’ presidents and that could not be allowed so a disaster was created allowing Roosevelt’s election.
With Roosevelt came the collectivist or Communist ideology and the old America was dead, much as when Obama was elected. Some say the first America was from 1789 to 1860, the second from 1860 to 1933. Roosevelt inaugurated the third and the Moslems created the fourth in 2001.
Roosevelt’s election coincided with Hitler’s election as Chancellor so along with Stalin the three most important actors of the period through 1945 took the stage. Stalin would hang in there until he outwore his welcome in 1953 but Roosevelt and Hitler would die within a few weeks of each other in 1945.
Stalin was indisputably the master of the three. Roosevelt being weakest and most inept. Roosevelt is something of a mystery. He came to Washington with a whole coterie of Jews. Nor was his entry unplanned by the Jews. They were prepared on all fronts, they knew the battle plan. Brandeis and Frankfurter had a legion on doctrinaires both Jewish and not who through Roosevelt placed them in sensitive positions in all departments. Most notably they made a beeline for the Agricultural Department.
It was there that control of the food supply lay. Shortly after the turn of the century a man called David Lubin had devised a plan to gain control of the North American food supply as well as other commodities. He enlisted a San Francisco lawyer named Aaron Sapiro to propagate the plan while he departed for Italy. While Sapiro’s success was fitful by 1924 it came to the attention of Henry Ford who understood that the plan was intended to lead to a control of the food supply.
He undertook to expose Sapiro and his plan. Sapiro then sued Ford for defamation. The trial was declared a mistrial. Rather than undertake another trial Ford bought Sapiro off but in the process of the trial Sapiro was exposed more or less as a fraud and his effort and career were ruined at the trial’s end in 1927. The plan to capture the food supply had been in limbo since ’27 but now with Roosevelt the Jews began to institute a new and better plan backed by the government. Agriculture would be much different in 1945 when Roosevelt headed out to sea. It would be similar to that of the Soviet Union.
Operatives were also prominent in State and the Treasury. This cadre of operatives was known as Frankfurter’s Happy Hot Dogs.
Even more remarkable is the fact that as early as election night victory NYC Jews were naming new born sons Franklin Delano Goldstein or whatever. Why would they have thought FDR was one of theirs? And, in fact, why did FDR enact the Jewish program consonant with that of the Soviet Union?
This is very puzzling. When did Roosevelt become so enamored of the Jews that he became an advocate of their interests? I can offer only a tentative solution but it does explain FDR’s remarkable behavior.
There was a great contest for financial control of the US at the turn of the century headed by JP Morgan interests on the one hand and on the other the Jews led by Jacob Schiff of Kuhn-Loeb. Connected to the Jewish interests was the goi railroad magnate E.L. Harriman. In the first years of the century the battle was led by Morgan on the one side and Schiff/Harriman on the other. The battle would be decided in 1913 when the Jews captured the Federal Reserve giving them control of the US currency. Morgan and the American representatives were thus elbowed aside.
But an interesting thing happened earlier in 1901. With the huge influx of Russian Jews from 1870 to 1914 came the Settlement House movement of which Jane Addams’ Hull House in Chicago is the most famous example. In NYC the Rivington Street Settlement was the most prominent. The Houses were meant to assist immigrants to assimilation. Addams was a Socialist and I’m sure were the others.
In 1901 Edward Harriman’s nineteen year old daughter Mary led eighty young society girls down to the Lower East Side, slumsville, to assist in Jewish acculturation or so we are led to believe. This was the beginning of the Jr. League that still exists today.
You can imagine the impact on Jewish psychology of all these elite upper class society girls condescending to leave the comforts of uptown to mingle with downtown Jewish immigrants. Now, I mean, these people were from the very edge of civilization in Russia. I don’t want to go into details but these were an unkempt, rude bunch of bumpkins. If they had been Hillbillies no one would have given a turnip for them. Truly the mountain had come to Mohammed. Whatever notion the Jews had of being the impoverished aristocrats of the world such a thought would have seemed justified. It was like the Byzantine emperor traveling to Simon Stylites’ column in the desert to escort him to Constantinople in triumph. Mary Harriman had created the Junior League.
In 1903 the League was joined by Eleanor Roosevelt and her suitor Franklin Roosevelt.
The appearance of this scion of Old New York must have astounded the Jews even more. Perhaps other young society swains made their way downtown also, I don’t know.
Now, anyone who thinks the Jews were idly sitting on their hands is mistaken. One might well ask how the idea of invading Rivington to ‘help’ Jews entered young Mary Harrington’s mind. Her father was obviously intimate with not only the leading financial Jews of the day such as Jacob Schiff but undoubtedly was familiar with the top echelon of Kuhn Loeb and probably most of the significant Jews of his day. Might not he and they have conspired to indoctrinate these young society girls to assimilate with the Jews of Rivington Street?
If one thinks on it, there is something quite similar here to Eddie Bernay’s , you remember him, the publicist, plan to encourage women to smoke Lucky Strike cigarettes for George Washington Hill. Hill wanted to expand Lucky’s base and since women were not smoking he wanted to get them started. Bernay’s said he could do it. He got a number of young society women to march down Fifth Avenue’s Easter parade lighting up in front of the photographers and attending police. Eddie characterized these cigarettes as Freedom Torches. He succeeded in his plan as Lucky’s sales increased dramatically. So, the point! Propaganda. These girls of the Junior League (a league of young women, excellent propaganda device) then were setting an example for all the young women in America- be kind to your Jewish friends and serve them.
The Jews advanced rapidly on their arrival. Their population in New York reached 25-30 percent allowing them to immediately elect city, county, State and even national representatives. For the nonce however NYC mayor or NY State governor was beyond their reach. To occupy those offices they would need surrogates who were gois. But these were easily found. And in their long range vision they could see a puppet in the supreme office of President of the United States. Al Smith led the way as governor but failed in his bid for the presidency but they had another ready and that other was Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
Al Smith had been a pawn of the Jewish political genius Belle Moskowitz plus a coterie of Jews. Al was originally a part of the Irish Tammany Hall before the Jews captured him. As governor of New York Al had implemented essentially the Jewish program contra Tammany. When he failed in his presidential bid of 1928 the Jews discarded him for Roosevelt. As governor Roosevelt forced Tammany’s mayor Jimmy Walker out to be replaced by the Jewish Fiorello LaGuardia. When he left office he cleared the way for the first Jewish New York governor, Herbert Lehman. So now the Jews had captured the mayoralty of NYC and governorship of NY.
As Roosevelt was even more the Jewish puppet than Al Smith one has to ask why. The Jews who had been fighting the German Volkists for a decade declared war on Germany on Hitler’s election while Roosevelt began dutifully talking and preparing for war upon his inauguration. One must ask why? Why were his sympathies so Jewish against the best interests of the rest of the country which he ignored?
I am only speculating but those interests would have predated his presidency by many years. I think an appropriate area of investigation would be what happened at the Rivington Street Settlement House when he and Eleanor served there. Eleanor while not ‘anti-Semitic’ didn’t develop the same affinity for Jews as FDR. When he was elected governor she specifically advised him to steer clear of Belle Moskowitz and in a deprecating manner the Jews around Al Smith. Her associating with them at Rivington apparently made her skeptical of their qualities.
Franklin, on the other hand, was their robot. My guess is that he was hypnotized at Rivington, perhaps as a parlor game, and given the appropriate post-hypnotic suggestions. Thus he would have been the first Manchurian Candidate as president.
Even as early as his first Ambassador to the Soviet Union, William Bullitt, he began making concessions to Stalin that Bullitt insisted that he not make. He continued this practice with all his succeeding Ambassadors. By the time of his conferences with Stalin at Teheran and Yalta he appears to not have a mind of his own as he gave Stalin the whole courthouse. For instance at Yalta he insisted on having Alger Hiss along, a man the apparently had never met. At Yalta he signed incredible documents and yet couldn’t remember having seen them, let alone signing them. He said he never would have signed them.
So, what then? Either he was completely deranged or he responded to post hypnotic suggestion. What other explanation could there be? How else can you explain his ridiculous obeisance to Stalin? Even Stalin was puzzled. After conceding to Stalin’s every demand at Teheran Stalin puzzledly asked him what concessions he would make on his scheduled visit to the Saudi king. With a fair amount of anguish Roosevelt replied he would make him take all six million Jews in the US. That was probably as close to a rebellion in his hypnotized state that he could make. At any rate it points to the Jews as his problem.
We were fortunate that he died in 1945 but we would have been more fortunate if he had never been elected.
His German counterpart and bete noir because of the Jews was called Hitler whose friends called him Wolf. There was universal antipathy to Wolf that probably was due to his plebeian origins. His manners were less refined than others of the governing class. Coming essentially of peasant stock while living the life of a Subterranean in his youth which means he had few of the social graces, and spending the war years as a trench runner he didn’t have appropriate social background to gain the respect of the ‘privileged.’ He was laughed at by the career politicians and despised. In Germany when he gained command of the armed forces you may be sure that the officer caste repudiated him as a former enlisted. The chasm between officers and enlisted is deep and wide and cannot ever really be crossed although a few enlisted do make it to the other side. They do not find acceptance. The officers hated Wolf so much that they sabotaged the war effort bringing defeat, incredible suffering and unbearable humiliation on their own country and people. Truly, they bit off their noses to spite their faces.
The perception of Hitler has been unremittingly obstructed for nearly a hundred years of Jewish defamation.
A reevaluation if not rehabilitation of Wolf has begun in recent years as the whole history of period has come up for review and debunking. Slowly the Jewish distortion is being corrected. The plain fact of the matter is that politicians would not deal fairly with Hitler even though Wolf began very reasonably under the vilest of conditions. The Augean stables he was trying to clean up were more foul than those Hercules sanitized.
The Germans were being treated execrably even being denied their humanity. They were admitted to the League of Nations as a pariah people to be kept at arm’s length. Great crimes were committed against them as in the hateful French occupation of the Rhineland. Nearly all their resources were appropriated by the French and other nations in an effort to impoverish them forever to prevent their out competing their less capable neighbors including the French. The Europeans might as well have said: ‘You’re our niggers now.’ What were the French trying to say when they quartered African colonials in German households? I think the answer is obvious.
If the Europeans were unwilling to recognize German humanity what was Wolf to do? Since his enemies wouldn’t negotiate honestly with what they considered an upstart but as though they were dealing with a lying idiot it did close out a lot of avenues for discussion. For instance, Wolf was not so foolish as to think war was anything but a last resort. He made handsome offers to the Polish government that would have been wise and beneficial for them to accept. It was Polish belligerence, thinking Germany weak, that forced Wolf into the pact with the Soviet Union and the partition of Poland.
Wolf tried repeatedly to keep the peace with both France and England; both countries lost their reason by engaging in a war that could not be won with their resources depleted by WWI, but they preferred suicide to giving Wolf Hitler the green light to attack one of the two true aggressor nations, the Soviet Union.
Wolf tried repeatedly to come to terms with the US but Roosevelt acting as a madman refused to deal with Hitler as an authoritarian leader although he had no trouble kowtowing to Stalin who was the very definition of authoritarian. He characterized the disagreement as a conflict between ‘righteous democracy’ and evil tyranny apparently not recognizing the hypocrisy of his attitude. In point of fact the Jews in the US and worldwide declared war on Wolf upon his election in 1933. Following their lead Roosevelt began preparations for war virtually on his inauguration.
Imbibing Jewish hatred of Germany and Germans I think it fair to say that he determined it would be a war to the knife, unconditional surrender and reconstruction as after the Civil War, or nothing.
Now, what did unconditional surrender mean to FDR? Let us look at the attitudes of the American Civil War and Reconstruction. Writing in his ‘standard Southern history of the late war’, The Lost Cause of 1870, E.A. Pollards quotes the New York Times on the war’s advent: (italics in the original)
…we mean to conquer them [the Confederate States], not merely to defeat, but to conquer, to subjugate them. But when the rebellious traitors are overwhelmed in the field, and scattered like leaves before an angry wind, it must not be to retire to peaceful and contented homes! They must find poverty at their firesides, and see privation in the anxious eyes of mothers and the rags of children. The whole coast of the South from the Delaware to the Rio Grande must be a so
As it was prophesied so it came to be. Ulysses Grant demanded unconditional surrender which meant that the bodies and souls of Southern men, women and children become the property of the victorious North to dispose of as it pleased and that pleasure was the attempted genocide of the White people of the South.
That is what the unconditional surrender of the savage Roosevelt meant to the Germans and that is the way they were treated. They were treated as were the conquered and subjugated people of the South, a savage and evil reconstruction. Combined with Jewish hopes and desires the genocide of the Germans was intended beginning in 1933 as the Jews were starving millions of farmers in Russia into submission.
Like the men and women of the South who tried to secede from the Union so the Fascist countries had seceded from the authority of the ‘peace loving’ democracies. Democracy was somehow stretched to include the Soviet Union and there sat the Great Spider brooding watchfully over his web of deceit.
Stalin’s was the directing mastermind. From the East of China and Japan to the Western shores of North America Stalin unfolded his great plan. The Germans did nothing that Stalin hadn’t done before them and continued doing yet the defensive actions of Wolf Hitler and the Nazis were considered great crimes.
Just as Roosevelt in the US had his Jewish henchmen so Stalin in the USSR assembled a like coterie. Thus the Jews influenced both governments, if they didn’t control them, in their own interests. They just hadn’t calculated the unintended consequences of their warfare. If the war had gone as planned between the US and Soviet jaws of the vice the German people and the German State would have disappeared, a complete and total genocide to gratify Jewish vanities, while the two most powerful States in the world would have been under their control governing the world. Thus the millennium, the redemption would been realized (the Jewish thousand year Reich) but, a funny thing happened on the way to the Millennium.
Unfortunately for the Jews the plan misfired when Hitler, going to the source of the European problem, began by disenfranchising the Jews, removing them from sensitive positions in government, society and the universities, finally herding them into concentration camps along with their fellow Communists. In the process large numbers of Jews died giving rise to the notion of a Jewish holocaust. Of course any such Jewish holocaust was meaningless compared to the European holocaust they had fomented and the even more fearsome German holocaust perpetrated by the fine Christian gentlemen of the Allies.
Even as Wolf Hitler was disenfranchising the Jews, in the mid-thirties the Soviets, that is essentially the Jews, were ethnically cleansing the German farmers of the Ukraine and Volga Delta. Thus the German hatred cultivated in the nineteenth century was reaching a crescendo that had not the news been suppressed might have horrified the peace loving democracies of Roosevelt. As the Jews skillfully maneuvered behind the scenes, rarely letting themselves be seen except as victims no great notice was taken of their crimes.
The thirties was characterized by Eugene Lyons in his book as The Red Decade. Truly Communist ideology infiltrated everywhere, from the Union movement to the movies. The American social scene was allowed by the Roosevelt Administration to polarize as Communist, Liberal, Leftist, Red what you will, while any resistance to his program was characterized as ‘Fascist.’ Thus once again you had the Abolitionists vs. the slave owners. Angels and demons, much as Obama in our time characterizes his critics as ‘Domestic Terrorists.’
Anyone, such as Charles Lindbergh, Hearst or Henry Ford who tried to inject a little reason into the situation was defamed in a criminal manner while either being destroyed economically or pushed to the wall.
Had they been heeded the war would have been avoided. Wolf Hitler was no fool; he had seen the destruction and misery of WWI, his wartime career as a trench runner and the gassing that nearly blinded him made an indelible impression on him. His political maneuvers were meant to restore dignity and self-respect to Germans and Germany. His purpose was to rectify the crimes of the Versailles Treaty.
He wanted peace with the West while fearing the Communists in the East but Roosevelt wanted war. There was no room on earth for the dissident nations. It was his way or the highway. He wanted to eradicate the Germans for what he considered criminal resistance to what he perceived as the right much as the Abolitionists of the Civil War wanted the South burnt to the ground for resistance to Northern desires. During the Civil War Sherman did burn Atlanta to the ground and devastated Georgia from Atlanta to the sea. A horrible piece of barbarity but nothing compared to Roosevelt’s terror bombing of hundreds of German cities aimed directly at the genocide of German civilians. What a holocaust that was.
Fiendish devices were devised to create unbelievable terror. The cities of Hamburg and Dresden were bombed to oblivion while to complete the hatred incendiary bombs were deployed to set square miles aflame with the heat reaching such intense levels that the hydrogen and oxygen atoms separated causing the rivers to burst into flame. If you want to talk about crimes against humanity, my friends, consider Hamburg and Dresden. There are no innocents.
